We went for a hike, and had a lovely lunch in this cosy place. Very friendly people served fresh food: delicious homemade soup and salad. After our hike we went back for the best piece of pie ever! We are definitly coming back

Gutes Essen mit wunderbarem Ausblick auf das Lipperland mit dem Hermann im Hintergrund. Bodenständiges und leckeres Speise und Kuchenangebot. Der Matjes war frisch, die Bratkartoffeln knusprig auch der Kuchen sehr lecker.Wir kommen wieder.

The food was very good, served in a big plates and in a very affordable price for 4 persons so as well the drinks. Weekend´s like Friday and Saturday dining here as my sister-in-law said, is always full, so one must set a reservation. Big parking place outside. Good ambience too. I would highly recommend this restaurant when in Detmold, nearby and in Bad Meinberg nearby...

We stayed in the Sportsbar hotel during a hiking trip in the area. Our room was clean and spacious and included a conservatory. The bathroom featured a shower and a bathtub, the latter being a very welcome surprise after a day of hiking. We decided to have dinner in the Sportsbar itself and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had a Gyros Teller and a Currywurst. Both were very tasty and very reasonaby priced. To round off our pleasant experience, the breakfast next morning was again tasty and plentiful and featured freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen zum ersten Mal hier und sehr zufrieden!Die Bedienungen waren sehr sehr freundlich und hatten Spaà an ihrem Job.Das Essen schmeckte hervorragend und wurde nach Wunsch schärfer oder weniger scharf serviert.Ich empfehle das original thailändische "Phad Ka Phao Nüa" mit gehacktem Rindfleisch, welches gesondert auf der Karte aufgeführt ist.Das Ambiente ist auch recht nett gemacht!Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen, um die Ente zu probieren, die bei den Bekannten sehr lecker aussah.

Am Ankunftstag in Horn Bad Meinberg den TripAdvisor geöffnetund dieses Restaurant entdeckt.Wir sind hingepilgert ,wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst und haben in dem Biergarten Platz gefunden. Bestellt haben wir die Hauspfanneund Jägerschnitzel. Suuuperlecker und sehr Reichhaltig.Wir lieÃen uns den Rest einpackenund "Rollten" zufrieden nach Hause.Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert.

Had a bit of a wander through the woods to see the rock formation, and fancied a bit of lunch. Got seen straight away, and drinks came quickly. 8 of us had a course each, ranging from veal to waffles, as well as a couple of drinks, and it came to just over the â¬100. Good food, good service, in a lovely setting.

We have been there for the very first time. Unique location and atmosphere -a former and nicely renovated windmill-, excellent service -professional yet not too formal-, and just gorgeous dishes (we had different ones, from asparagus with veal to risotto with prawns). Unexpected in the Lippe countryside just 11km away from Detmold.
