This small little restaurant looks like a shack from the outside. When you enter you feel like you are transported to a small hut somewhere in the mountains. There was a lot of detail given to the decorations and seating to make you feel comfortable and to transport you to the mountains. Outside there is seating directly on the river. The food was excellent, especially the Kaiserschmarn. This is a great place to celebrate a birthday with a group of 15-20 friends. Good service and simply a wonderful evening.

We had several dinner at tis location, sometimes more than 30 Persons, we had a perfect Service, friendly, fast, ... The food is "better than Moms", so lets say simply excellent. The Atmosphere is warm, nice and what you wanna have in a real bavarian"Wirtshaus".

After a long day traveling we were looking for simple and so ate at the restaurant attached to the Bavaria Motel. We were eating quite early and so the place was deserted and it meant we got very attentive service. There were sufficient tables to hold about 80 people but less than 5 were occupied.Menu was available in English and the staff also spoke a good quality but with it being our first night we were a little skeptical of the food on offer. We both opted for the fish and it came fairly quickly, properly cooked and well presented. Marking out of ten then it would an eight.

Went here for business dinner. The food was very good, but very large portions. If you like Mexican food, you might want to give this restaurant a try. Waitress was not that excited about serving that day though. But overall, I would say it was a nice experience.

Local bright, friendly atmosphere, with tasty dishes. Two waitresses, one English-speaker, one not at all. Menu only in German, no translation in any other language. Some difficult to choice meals. We tried three different soups and three different schnitzels.

This is one of those places where you think it may be possible to find amazing home cooked Bavarian food, unfortunately it is not. The interior is dated and not in rustic kind of way. Bathrooms smell and look like the ones at the average train station. The menu is rather short in selection and the dishes we tried were best described as "freezer package" food.Everything from the watery salad dressing, over the bland Spätzle to the just okay sauces was simply underwhelming.Patrons were mostly small groups of men drinking beer and talking about their day. Again this reminded much more of a train station bar than a traditional Bavarian restaurant. We had much more flavorful food and variety at Wirtshaus Burkart.

Visited during the World Cup in Brazil, but not on a match day. Service was poor and we had to wait quite a while even though the restaurant only had 2 other customers. The meal was I think re-heated, you might need to be really hungry before entering.

After walking by this place a few times during evening walks, we decided to go there for breakfast one weekend. My first impression was "wow" - the interior is decorated with an extremely cute, personal touch that makes you feel relaxed and at home. 5 stars for the decor. One of the staff told us to take any free table but then took a bit longer than we would have liked to come ask for our order. I didn't mind but my partner was hungry and grumpy :)The menu items are breakfast/brunch, and they also serve homemade cakes (I will try them next time!).I had scrambled eggs with chopped tomatoes and toast while my partner had omelette - it was tasty but nothing special. The tea they served was delicious - bought by them from a local tea shop.My complaint is with the crepe I ordered - it was barely cooked through and very oily. I will not be ordering pancakes there again as I can make better ones at home.Overall though, it's a nice place for breakfast/lunch with good service (rare in Germany). We plan on coming back again!
