The service was excellent and food to match. The restaurant is in a small town and I wasn't expecting the menu to be in English. But the waitress noticed that I was struggling with the German version and offered me an English version that was hand written and then took time to explain each item on the menu. Was fully booked for Sunday lunch so reservation is a must.

Surprising place to find a most of all italian restaurant, Food was good and as often in Germany portions where generous.We visited on a wednesday evening, and the place was quite full, and it took some time to get our food, but not too long.Would like to recomment to visit the tower adjasent to the restaurant from where you will have a good view of the arean

Wir waren schon des Ãfteren in gröÃeren Abständen in der wirklich doch eher einfach gestalteten Gaststätte, die viel von Anwohnern besucht ist. Die Bedienung schon alt eingesessen, das Haus selbst schon lang bestehend, die Speisekarte wie immer eher klein gehalten und mit schmackhaften deutschen Gerichten versehen. Vor der Tür ein kleiner Biergarten mit Sonnenschirmen. GroÃe Räumlichkeiten für Feiern anhängend. Wir haben bisher keinen Reinfall erlebt. Fazit: Wer das einfach Urige sucht und Lust auf deutsche Schmackerl hat, ist hier genau richtig.

Die Gastwirtschaft ist urig und authentisch. Leider gibt es immer weniger davon. Sehr leckeres Essen, tolle Schnitzel in allen möglichen Variationen. Supergrosse Portionen zum günstigen Preis. Wir hatten das Jäger- und das Frankfurter Schnitzel. Dazu gibt es selbstgemachte Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Das weisse Ross hat auch eine schöne Aussenterrasse vor der Wirtschaft.

A lovely restaurant and Biergarten, great food and service, reasonable prices. Perfect for a family, there is a playground in full view from the terrasse Biergarten. Cows and goats graze nearby. For the less mobile walkers the woodland paths from the restaurant are reasonably flat and easy walking. We were a party of grandparents (74), parents and young children (youngest 4). The children could happily go and play whilst the adults sat at the table and talked yet still watch the kids. And afterwards we all went for a little meander in the woods.Perfect Sunday afternoon family time. Highly recommended.

Unter der Woche ist der vordere Bereich gemütlich. Mit vielen Stammgästen belegt, meist Pensionäre. Am Sonntag ist das Restaurant voll belegt, so dass der groÃe Zusatzsaal mit belegt ist. Lange ungemüliche Tischreihen- Bahnhofshallenatmosphäre der 70er. Laut. Alles kein Grund auf gutes Essen zu verzichten, doch groÃer Irrtum. Drei Schnitzel bestellt, der Salat war schnell serviertals die Getränke, lecker- schmackhaft.Nach kurzer Wartezeit kam die groÃe Schüssel mit Pommes - heiÃ, kross etwas viel Salz. Die Schnitzel - groà - nasse Pannade, Fleisch gekocht., nicht gebraten - kalt! Alle drei! Vermutlich berets morgens vorgefertigt und im Wärmer aufbewahrt.

If you want to eat here, plan and book well ahead! Steffens were in Steinheim in the past and now moved to Alzenau in a bigger, brighter place. It also has rooms to stay. The food is excellent, the ambiente modern and all is well here for business or private.It is a bit out of the way to get here, but it is worth i!

We played a round of Golf here and really enjoyed the course as itâs in perfect condition. Went than for dinner here as the location of the restaurant is very nice with a very good terrace. But when we ordered dinner the service is not really friendly or service oriented as they do not really listen to you. The standard Schnitzel dinner we ordered was really very average as well. Think you really can expect more from this restaurant when it comes to service and quality of food they deliver.

German style food, but a little different from most German restaurants. Their spicy sauce has more kick than you will find in most places. Steaks are pretty good and the deep fried mushrooms make an excellent starter for one hungry or two normal people.
