We came across this restaurant on the outskirts of the Freiburg shopping district. It was a nice surprise. The food (we ordered Italian) was delicious and affordable. Recommended for families.

war alles, was wir probiert haben. Kann man empfehlen. Insbesondere lohnt ein Gang durch den Ort bis zu der sehr schönen Kirche und der ausgefallenen Gedenkstätte.

A very good restaurant with an interesting wines offer. Attentive and dedicated staff.The dessert was just amazing : "Johannisbeer â Joghurtterrineim Mantel von geschroteten grünen Kakaobohnen an Erdbeer â Minzesauce"Hmmm..I still remember it. It was a while I hadn't tasted a dessert that was so nice.

ein nettes Ausflugslokal und Cafe mit einer tollen Aussicht über die Schwarzwaldberge.Leckere hausgemachte Kuchen und Torten überraschen uns jedesmal wenn wir hier einkehren. Es werden auch viele Vespergerichte angeboten. Viele erwandern diesen Ort, man kann aber auch mit dem Auto über das Brettental hoch fahren.

Bei einer Motorradtour auf der L110 hielten wir an dem Gasthaus an um zu speisen.Die Karte bot einiges an Köstlichkeiten preiswerter Speisen und Getränken an.Auch die Portionen sind anständig, so dass auch ein guter Esser satt wird.Bei schönem Wetter kann man die Speisen und Getränke auch im Freien zu sich nehmen.

This restaurant reminds me of those I used to visit as a child in Germany. The ambience is simple but very comfortable. The service is friendly and seems to know regular guests. There is even a "Stammtisch" for the most regular of the regular guests.The food is of a very high quality. This is not fancy food, but well-prepared dishes traditionally served in ordinary restaurants throughout Germany - the kind that one does not find so often any longer. The schnitzel is excellent - and I strongly recommend the potato salad. There is not much in the potato salad - potatoes, dressing, and not much else. Yet somehow it is one of the most delicious recipes I have tasted.The setting, high up in the Black Forest, is also beautiful and charming.

Located right on the edge of the lake and creates a special and pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, the desserts were special and tasty, the waitress Silka was a nice,patietn.In short - highly recommended!
