Erneuter Versuch, noch schlechteres Resultat. Ãberteuertes Essen durchschnittlicher Qualität. Bestellt wurde paniertes Kotelett mit Bratkartoffeln und Cordon bleu mit Kroketten. Dazu zwei groÃe Pils. Es gab: 6 TK Kroketten und ein kleines Cordon Bleu -ohne SoÃe, ohne Garnitur. Zudem: ein paniertes Kotelett mit Bratkartoffeln, einem Salat und TK-Gemüse. Allein das Unverhältnis beider Gerichte bei ähnlichem Preis von ca. 15 Euro ist schon dreist. Rechnungssumme 37 Euro, ein Euro Trinkgeld dafür, dass es nicht reingeregnet hat. Der âServiceâ hat sein Missfallen deutlich kundgetan. So ein Gesamtpaket an Dreistigkeit lässt sich nur durch ein Stammpublikum mit einem Durchschnittsalter weit über 60 erklären.

On a trip further South we made a lunch stop in Emmendingen. We entered Palio without many expectations and were pleasantly surprised: the food is tasty and made from excellent ingredients (I had a salad with a superb organic goat cream cheese). Service is friendly and efficient. Very good value. I will certainly return happily, if I'm around that area again.

Travelled to emmendingen to meet friends and ended up here for a spot of food. Wow! The service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and my steak was perfect! The wife was overjoyed with her schnitzel and the portions were huge, ended up taking some home with us! Highly recommended!

....Aber nicht sehr gut. Die Spargelportion war eher kleiner, jedoch vom Geschmack sehr gut. Der Service war sehr gut jedoch war zur gleichen Zeit eine Feier im Haus und damit gab es etwas Verzögerungen.

Unfriendly, unwelcoming staff, none of them even bothering with even the beginning of a smile or basic politeness. Clearly, we were disturbing them, sitting here and ordering coffee. How dare we?

During a visit to this town, we enjoyed a very fine dinner here. Service was friendly (the kind where one is greeted by handshake) and efficient. The food to the most part was delicious. The "Vorspeisenteller" featured plentiful selections and was beautifully presented. I followed it with the Steinpilzravioli I ordered was very tasty and the mushrooms' distinctive taste was well preserved. My friend found her main dish somewhat disappointing, especially the Brägele (roast potatoes without bacon and onions but they were not roasted particularly beautifully). The selection of local wines to accompany dinner was lovely.

We have ben here for a business lunch and also for brunch. There is always a peaceful atmosphere supported by a varied miday menu and pleasant staff. At lunch time the mini desserts are wonderful, just enough to be able to enjoy the taste without being overloaded

A very good restaurant with an interesting wines offer. Attentive and dedicated staff.The dessert was just amazing : "Johannisbeer â Joghurtterrineim Mantel von geschroteten grünen Kakaobohnen an Erdbeer â Minzesauce"Hmmm..I still remember it. It was a while I hadn't tasted a dessert that was so nice.
