Hier sollte man etwas tun. Z.B.

We had dinner at the restaurant after a long drive through Germany. Three waitors was trying to service a bit too many people. It was full outside, so we found seats inside. The beer was great, so was the cokes for the kids. Food arrived in random order so we could not eat together. The pizza was worse than our home-cooked pizza but the rest of the food was good. Near our table was a fish tank where two fish was dead, and two was swimming upside down in a suicide attempt. Dead fish was later removed or served as food, difficult to explain to kids. Maybe they were suffering due to the heat of the summer. When we were supposed to pay, the waitor pushed 7150 EUR on my credit card, and luckily it was rejected by my bank. The 71,50 went through w/o problems. Another DK family we spoke to experienced that their bill of 45 EUR was charged with a fee, so the total was 71,5 EUR which they rejected and paid 45 in cash. So, either the waitor is stupid or trying to cheat, so make sure you pay in cash.. Outside the kids liked the playground but the sea is not really nice for a swim!

the service personnel is gruff verging on outright rude. one of them smelt terribly of cigarette smoke.we ordered quite expensive second courses but while some dishes were gargantuan portions, the others were punyto crown it, a hotel restaurant did not take master card, visa or maestro cards and expected us to draw cash from a nearby bank.

When it comes to dining, we can provide a truly special experience at the Kokenstube restaurant. It is run by head chef Alexander Melicker, who trained under the Michelin-starred Heinz Winkler at "Tristan" on Mallorca and at "Residenz" in Chiemgau and is
Had an excellent meal here in the recently renovated restaurant. I had the asparagus soup and the veal with asparagus for my main. It was outstanding as was the service. From outside, this place looks like an average contryside restaurant. The interieur, however, is modern and warm. In summer, it is most enjoyable to have dinner or, at least, a welcome drink in the backyard. The food is excellent, both, the way it is prepared and the way it is styled. Beyond the long winelist, it is a good choice to follow the recommendation made in the menu. The service is very attentive but not pushy. The Chef is flexible with any deviations from the menu. Although not really centrally located, it is worth it to do this 30 min trip from Hannover to enjoy a fantastic dinner and a perfect evening! I have been here with my family and friends as well as with business partners.

Before it got the Michelin star this was our favorite place. However, with the star they went over-board price-wise. Kokenhof offers (almost) the same quality at less than half the price. What is more, Elfrun Kühn, the owner, shares gossip about her guests with everyone, after we had found about that we don't go there anymore.
