We only went here for a drink and sat outside until it got too cold then went inside. The waitress was rushed off her feet but still managed to serve everyone quickly and with a smile. When we went inside and saw the meals people had we wished we'd dined there too. Certainly will next time. The Schwarzbier was lovely and so refreshing. They had a great selection of beer, wine and spirits. Great place to go for a drink or a meal.

Four of us enjoyed the good strong coffee and the good cakes and ice cream at Remise. We sat outside in the pleasant peaceful square.

Lovely building and setting. Staff good. Food above average (although I cannot find any reason to serve salad with dressing on top of warm food. Saw it on every dish, a truly extravagant idea. Salad was, of course, ruined). Wine list short but not bad. Need to come back.

Visited one evening in late April. It was too cold to sit outside in the excellent gardens by the river - but indoors the restaurant was comfortable with a great atmosphere. The menu is quite short - and very German. Lots of meat & potatoes - but please do not ignore the fish options. The herring was superb. The staff were happy to mix/match items from the menu to prepare a meal for the vegetarian in our party.

I had Zanderfilet with mushrooms "Pfefferlinge". Absolutely delicious.The restaurant was very busy on the Friday evening and we had to wait for our food. But it was definitely worse and fresh cooked.

Our hotelier recommended we walk here for dinner through town, and it was a brilliant recommendation. Wide selection of different fish dishes with some excellent wine choices, too. And then the view out over the Havel, which flows around the whole old part of town. Very beautiful. Friendly service and an affordable and very pleasant meal. Highly recommended.

A mid-budget restaurant with a familiar atmosphere, good sevice and a Biergarten in the back. The food is typical German, a lot of fine pork specialities (but also good fish), and plentyful servings.

Potatoes potatoes and more potatoes! A wonderful concept on presenting the menu. Potatoes come with everything so fish,meat, vegans and vegatarians are all catered for. I had the schnitzel with roast potatoes and onion gravy. Delicious washed down with good German beer. Service was attentive and good. The wasps if eating outside at this time of year were a pain. It is not the quickest place to be served and my food on a Wednesday lunch took 45 minutes to arrive. The deserts looked very good, I wanted the hot raspberries but had no time to order as I had a train to catch. Would definately eat here again.

A realy good restaurant! Delicious dishes, prepared with care and eye for details.We chose the menu with 4 courses (out of 6) and had a good time. The cheese platter was the best I ever had, not standard at all but each of the cheeses used and prepared specially. Good job!We were the only guests this evening, but the team was deducated as if all tables were full.

Lovely old house on the "old" market of Brandenburg. Cosy interior, good service but definitely overpriced! Small portions!Maybe for the happy few in Brandenburg..We dont even pay that much for a glass of wine in Hamburg...
