Hanging out with friends in the afternoon. Nicky decorated and cosy place in the very centre. Stuff was very helpful, competent and helpful. Not a giant selection but good quality coffees and other drinks. The cakes looked nice and the sandwiches very just great. Good place at a reasonable price.

Der ehemalige Dörps Krug ist von der Fam. Engel übernommen worden. Renoviert soll das ehemalige Restaurant weiter geführt werden. So haben wir uns dort vom Sparclub (40 Personen) zu unserem jährlichen Essen nieder gelassen. Zur Auswahl standen Ente und Roulade. Ein Standart Winteressen. Die Enten waren restlos übergart und konnten auch mit der vorhandenen Sauce nicht mehr saftig gestaltet werden. Die Rouladen schienen auch nicht das zu sein was sie vorgaben. Zumindest lt. Aussage eines jungen Teilnehmer der die Hälfte wieder hat zurück gehen lassen.Wenn das Restaurant als empfehlenswert erwähnt werden möchte, ist noch viel zu tun. So ist das Niveau doch eher als bessere Imbissbude zu bezeichnen.

We were a pax of 3 and had the breaded pork in various forms. Food came quickly and was tasty and well presented. At 14 EUR a dish good value for money. Service is very informal and not super well trained as waiters but kind enoughBe aware that you can only pay with cash which is odd in this day and ageWould go back if I was in the area anyway

We was there three times, always service and food was very good. They have mainly good dishes of German cousine. Many locals had dinner there. Prices was very good, main dishes from 5 euro. Good choice of beers. Only one problem they accept only cash.

We discovered this newly opened café during our easter holidays. We have been there twice, had prosecco with red berries as a starter, several soups, cakes and wine. Everything was execptionally good, cakes freshly baked, soups prepared in small batches according to the daily changing menu. Friendly service. And a book exchange is included :-)

Ruhig und abseits von der Hektik des Alltages liegt die Seehütte direkt am Kellersee.Insbesondere im Sommer lockt die schöne Holzterrasse mit einem tollen Blick über den See und die holsteinische Landschaft.Die Fischbrötchen werden nach der Bestellung frisch zubereitet und schmecken einfach köstlich - dazu gibt es Kaffee, Bier, Wein und natürlich auch alkoholfreie Getränke.Und wer Kuchen (selbstgemacht) mag, kommt ebenfalls auf seine Kosten.Abgerundet wird das ganze durch den freundlichen Service am Tresen, an dem dieGäste in Selbstbedienung bewirtet werden.Alles in allem - ein Platz zum genieÃen und "runterfahren".

The best restaurant in town. Who runs a young chef with her husband. The food is excellent. The only drawback is that there is no English menu. Not expensive restaurant. If you're in this town, please don't miss.

We've visited Malente on a couple of occasions and always make a visit here. The menu is traditional German at a reasonable price. Both times we've visited, the place has been packed. The food is excellent, but the main draw is to sit out on the patio, on a sunny day, enjoying the view over the lake. Get there early to get a seat at the balcony and stay until late to watch the sun setting.

This restaurant has the out most swift and friendly service you can ever ask for!Drinks are ordered at seating, and the food is served as fast as you could ever ask for!The cuisine is genuine German and some local specialities as well.Pricing is fair.The restaurant is neatly kept and always clean and ready for new guests!
