It's a friendly place, obviously popular with locals as well as visitors, and the cooking's excellent. Nadine, who's always smiling, speaks English. The first time I had goulash, described on the menu as "sehr würzig" (= very spicy, which it was), and the second I had stir-fried Chinese vegetables, which were very good too.Very reasonable prices. There's a bowling alley attached. If you'd like a game just ask.

Located just in the front of the church which people called the most beautiful village church in the world makes this restaurant easy to found. This is a small town but surprisingly the food here is excellent! They serve German Swabish home style cooking with some seasonable vegetables or mushroom. We stop for lunch after exploring the amazing baroque architecture church. The appetizer was great, Green vegetable salad in mushroom sauce with season Pfifferlingfreling mushroom on the top with grilled bacon. Salty bacon complementing fresh rocket and endive also the fragrance of Pfifferling mushroom makes the dish even better. For the Main dish, we try Rice with Ratatouille it was excellent and good food for vegetarian and vegan, The Knudell with Pfifferling sauce was excellent also. The steak with Pfifferling sauteed in garlic butter was another nice food to choose. Of course Pfifferling is seasonable but with the richness of cooking style here, but I am sure this restaurant is good in any season. The satff is very nice and the service was good as the warm welcome from Baden Wutenberg area.

Great food, great everything! Fish, spargel, salads, sauces, etc. everything was fresh, tasty and wonderful! We will definitely come back.

Das Personal war bei unseem Besuch im Februar 2019 sehr unfreundlich und langsam.Der erste Satz der uns entgegen kam als die Bedienung an den Tisch kam war: Es gibt erst um 17.30 etwas zu essen. Kein Hallo, kein was mlchten Sie trinken oder sonst eine freundlichkeit.(Es war 17.15 Uhr als wir kamen)Das Essen war sehr einfallslos hergerichtet und schmeckte nicht besonders gut.Ich würde es nicht weiterempfehlen. Es gibt besseres in Bad Buchau

Wir waren hier zum Essen und die sehr guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht ganz verstehen. Die Einrichtung ist etwas bieder, der Service sehr gut, aber unter einer ungarischen Küche hätte ich mehr Würze erwartet. Die Portionen waren zwar sehr groÃ, die Pommes sind aber in SoÃe abgesoffen (die uns zu fade war) und ein Schnitzel legt man normalerweise auch nicht auf die Pommes drauf. Vom Preis her ok, aber in Summe haben wir schon deutlich besser gegessen

Wir haben uns gefragt, wie man in diesem Gasthaus die vollkommen überteuerten Preise rechtfertigt.Beispiele:Ein Stück Käsekuchen 4 â¬Balkanplatte für eine Person 18,90â¬Ein Viertel Wein 6⬠Vielleicht bezahlt man ja die Auszeichnung "Weltkulturerbe Federsee" mit.Es muss aber auch gesagt werden, das die von uns bestellten Gerichte lecker waren.

Schön eingerichtetes Restaurant, was man von auÃen nicht erwarten würde. Essen hat gut geschmeckt. Salat und und Rindsroulade waren perfekt. Die Blumen auf dem Essen sind nicht meins. Würde diese eher in einer Vase auf den Tisch stellen. Pommes waren zu fett, zu dunkel. Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis top. Gerne wieder.

We had an unexpected stay in Bad Bachau after not being able to secure accommodation in Biberach. We stumbled on this restaurant with a nice outside area overlooking the 'town square'.The service was fast and friendly even if limited English.They serve pizza and traditional German fair. Our food was very good, beers were cold and dessert was sweet. All good and recommended.

The food was excellent. My wife had a creamed spinach soup, and I had a roebuck deer entree that was outstanding. The local beer was good, and we split an ice cream dish for dessert. Our server was a very friendly and helpful young man that spoke good English.
