Tucked deep in the 15th arrondissement is this little gem. It is housed in a modern storefront sized room with bar and table seating. Interesting (and very good) starters were followed by one of the very best tasting pieces of veal that I have ever had. Don't know what they to it but it had just an outstanding flavor. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommned this restaurant.Good eveningThank you for taking the time to leave your opinion.I'm glad you had a nice time in our restaurant. For the veal, it is chosen to breed limousine cooked in butter with garlic and thyme, and the sauce is enhanced with a hint of yellow wine of the Jura. The seats around the bar are good to watch our team worked.Hoping to see you again very soonKind regards.Maximilien

With it's chef from the Bourgogne this is the bistro in Paris to have snail's and enjoy the hospitality of the region. The menu has a nice choice of other food and a good wine list.Definitely a place to go and enjoying a nice lunch or pre or after theater dinner."Théo Théâtre" is at a 2 minutes walk.

We go to the Vanves flea market every Saturday (and sometimes Sunday) when in Paris and after a morning of searching through the manettes (cases of "stuff" from house clearing), we look for a nice restaurant for lunch. Almost by chance, we found the Jeroboam which is discretely located on Rue Didot a few blocks north of the market. We have visited most of the restaurants in the area and up until now, our favorite was nearby, but was disappointing the last time. We decided to try something new and are we ever happy we did! We should have, but did not reserve, however, we were welcomed. We were a bit hesitant to be shown to the basement, however, even on the main floor, the restaurant is not flooded with light and the two seating areas in the basement are perfectly fine - perhaps a bit quieter, but still pleasant. In any case, the main floor was completely full and by the time we left, the basement had many tables filled. No tourists, but maybe not to be expected in the heart of the 14th arrondissement. We had a really nice, friendly server (serveuse?) that explained the daily specials, gave my Swedish friend a short lesson in French - in a nice way and made us feel very welcome. The daily menu was quite nice, with some items on the chalkboard not available, but the substitutes were fine - who could complain about a smoked salmon salad or grilled swordfish instead of tuna. A nice amuse bouche - crispy cheese and what seemed like crushed shortbread made into small rounds, The salads were very good and generous, served on a slate. We had the swordfish with a fantastic drizzle of pesto and our friends had magret de canard with a really nice cheesy sliced potato stack. All were quite happy with the meal.Wine by the glass is very reasonable, generously poured and many possible selections. Highly recommended

So glad we did. Itâs small and cosy but big enough to feel like youâre out somewhere nice. There were 3 of us, one had the fish, another the steak bleu and I had the lamb. It was all excellent. The wine was also good. We were all blown away by the desserts too, the lemon tarte was absolutely fabulous. Thank you
