Bistro offering a warm and welcoming kitchen of character combining passion, flavors and know-how. Large menu from Poutine B to the tartare of salmon going by Argentine flavors. A professional, friendly and competent team will make you live a beautiful ex
Recommended by the host at our B&B. Pleasant, comfortable dining room. Kate was a friendly, witty, and knowledgeable server--made a good recommendation for a wine to accompany my dinner. Every course in our meal was great: our Caesar salads had just the right amount of dressing. My main course was duck cooked in cider and other local fruits--very tasty. My wife had salmon tartare--a light salmon salad with chips for scooping. She said it was delicious, but noted that because it came with greens her Caesar salad was superfluous. We left room for dessert and were glad we did: I had the xocolatl: a chocolate mousse pastry garnished with Mexican chocolate--spicy, not sweet. Unique. My wife's dessert was off the menu, a raspberry ice cream sandwich--also excellent. The meal was a bit expensive, but appropriate for the tourist town and certainly commensurate with the quality. A great experience.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving around towns outside of Mont Tremblant. This hidden gem was the best dinner we had during our vacation. Fresh seafood, bison and the desserts (especially the apple donuts) were all incredible. Service was top notch and we would definitely return next time we are in town.

The people who work at this restaurant understand what Celiac disease is and can prepare food that is gluten-free. It is a nice family restaurant. The food was good and the surroundings are in nature and nice views.

In recent past, three top restaurants in this region have closed. With twelve years of experience, Recto Verso should be the good restaurant. Maybe it's me that I'm not wild about local Québécois cuisine, but I think Recto Verso tries too hard. My wife ani with another couple had a weekend supper there. We eachhad a two or three course meal w coffee. There were three very good dishes: a carrot soup, an Arctic Char substitute for the listed fish, and two desserts - Creme brûlée and a multiple chocolate dish. Three mains and two appetizers were average at best. For example, my lamb, pulled lamb on too many onions, an over salted sauce, topped by a very fatty small chop (two good bites) was unfinishable.Go for a simpler, more delicious menu, Recto Verso!Service also was unsatisfactory: good knowledge and very personable, but we waited too long on every element.
