A lovely welcoming Village Pub with an excellent A La Carte Menu which includes Pub Favourites as well as creative restaurant dishes. We are situated in Yealmpton which is a beautiful South Hams village a few miles outside Plymouth in Devon. We have 2 lov
We have dined here many times and always enjoyed the Sunday Roast, However last night we booked for an early evening roast. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly. We ordered the duo fo roast beef and pork. This arrived with the beef was served blue (nearly raw) this was cold, the pork was dry and the veg was all barley warm. we asked for the beef to be replaced rather than the whole meal. The chef then served us a piece of fried beef which was disgusting. All and all a disappointing meal. The front of house staff were totally embarrassed by what the chef had done and offered us complimentary desserts which were nice.Thank you for your comments and feedback. Weâre sorry your meal was unsatisfactory on this occasion. The kitchen team have considered the points raised and will continue to work on the great consistency we aim to provide. However, thank you also for your continued custom and support, we look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Welcome to the Millbrook Inn â gloriously situated in the charming village of South Pool, Devon. A place to discover and enjoy great, honest cooking in an atmosphere that celebrates why villages need pubs and pubs need villages. Take a look around and see
I was worried this was going to turn out to be an overpriced local pub, but although it was more than your average, the food more than makes up for it. We went with our boys, but they are at the age where it just about worked. I wouldn't have gone with any younger children - neither the menu or space would make it right for them really. I saw that they have a bbq on some nights with a different set up and that might work better for less formal. Extremely helpful front of house (owner?) was not sure who he was, but made us feel welcome, made sure the dog was comfortable and had water. What they call the bar snacks are more like starters really, and the menu is not 20 pages of inedible food, but a few choice options for fish, field and hedgerow to suit all, with some more basic, and value, children's options. Highly recommend. Make sure you book though as it is not a big place!

Pub restaurant in Kingbridge - Delicious Food Served All Day - Gourmet Burgers - Local Seafood and Fish - Real Ales
Having originally planned to lunch in Salcombe, until we saw the ridiculous prices being charged in the pubs and restaurants there, we went to Kingsbridge instead. Good move: lunch in the Seven Stars was delicious and reasonably priced. My husband had the Chicken Fajitas (an unusual choice for pub food), which arrived piping hot and sizzling. He assured me it was very tasty indeed. I had cheese & vegetable quiche with rocket salad and sweet potato fries, which was also excellent. With a pint and a half of beer, the meal and drinks came to less than £30.Good food, good beer, good prices and friendly, cheerful service: the perfect lunch!

Award winning food set in a place to relax, step back & be steeped in history. The Church House Inn, Churchstow, a 13th Century pub, built as a rest house for Bendictine Monks from Buckfast Abbey it has been a hostelry of one kind or another all of its li
We went for curry night and the food was excellent. Three curries and rice and a samosa all for £14 and really delicious and well presented. Friendly pub that does not rely on it's location to attract customers. Came her back in March and the food was really good then.

The 16th Century Village Inn, complete with beams salvaged from Spanish Armada ships wrecked on the nearby coast, is a popular free house owned by the Grose family for more than a century and is where they first offered hospitality to visitors. Recently e
Our once a year visit and once again well pleased. A warm smile welcomed us and the menu offered a good range of options. We both went for the fish pie which was well presented and really tasty. Happy to go again.
