Came across this chip shop by accident. But what a wonderful surprise. Had the Tempura prawns with chips and salad. It was spectacular. Also the establishment was awarded the title of best Fish and Chis in the National Awards. Really enjoyed this. Recommend this to every traveler going through Cirencester.

For our first Sunday in the UK we went here for Sunday Roast. We made reservations before but were seated in a rather uncomfortable spot, even though there were other tables available. They were out of several dishes, even though it was only 15:00. The food itself was nothing special and more like usual dish, nothing like a sunday roast. Rather small portion, not much gravy and not very inspired. For dessert they did not have apple crumble nor custard. Something that should not happen after Sunday roast: we left hungry.

Only one night here and wished it was longer. Really comfortable large first floor room. Very quiet, beautiful country outlook and great continental (by choice) breakfast. Wished we’d had the time for dinner here. Very friendly staff. Great location. If we’re ever in the region again, a must stay.
