It wonât be long and you wonât be able to get a table here for weeks/months! Never been before and never heard of it before but I will be going back again and again, great classic British food, good beer and great Gin!!! Staff were amazing, food was better than most places you'll ever eat in London....Simply a must place to go to get away from all the average chain restaurants and pubs around. The best place Iâve eaten in a long time.

Situated in peaceful Old Harlow, The Green Man is a historic 14th century Jacobean style inn. The Green Man is evidence Harlow was once a thriving station for horse drawn coaches to and from London. This charming country pub restaurant sits on pretty haml
12 of us ate here yesterday. We were seated in our own private alcove off the main restaurant which was perfect. Our waitress for the evening was Megan. She was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly with a warm personality, nothing was too much trouble. We never run out of drinks as throughout the evening Megan kept popping to see if we wanted any more drinks. All the food arrived together and was perfect. The table was cleared quickly between courses meaning no clutter. We brought a Birthday cake with us and Megan arrived with this when prompted and she joined in the chorus of Happy Birthday, she then got a knife, plates etc for all of us to enjoy the cake. It was a great evening and all of us enjoyed the food. Huge thanks to Megan who also had to put up with quite a bit if banter too!! Claire H, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at our pub

First visit today, drove from Brentwood because of the excellent reviews. Went for the Sunday roast which was very nice. Warm welcome, excellent service, all the staff are very friendly and look happy in their work - must have a nice boss! Neither me or my wife like parsnips or carrots which comes as standard so next time we will express a preference for vegetables. I had the pork but did order an extra slice which costs another £2.50, my wife had the sirloin which consisted of two quite thin slices, for £16 I think there should have been a little more meat on the plate, we know for next time. The pub itself has a lovely setting, spotlessly clean with a fantastic atmosphere, friendly people and a real genuinely nice county pub, very busy which says it all and also has nice outdoor seating areas, back soon

The Duke's Head serves modern British cuisine in the heart of the quintessential Essex village. 'Village Pub & Dining' explains our concept perfectly. A warm, friendly, atmospheric pub, which happens to do excellent, locally sourced food! Along with frien
My wife and I have eaten here several times, the owner Liz and her staff are warm, friendly, courteous and excel at their jobs. We've eaten several dishes and the standard of the food, cooking, and presentation is gourmet standard and we shall no doubt eat here many times again.
