The food was tasty and well presented; the menu has a reasonable, but neither extensive nor very original choice of dishes; the wine list has something for every taste. The total cost for an evening meal reaches easily between 40 and 50 ⬠per person. The quality of the service was much more disappointing: at no point during the evening were we really made to feel welcome, on the contrary. Even though the place was not full, the waitress was not very forthcoming and she seemed sometimes annoyed when we hesitated while ordering. She was definitely annoyed when we failed to mention that one of the dishes we ordered was the one mentioned on the set menu and not the identically named one in the general menu ... One expects more warmth from the staff in a small and quite expensive restaurant on a not very busy evening !

The Auberge de la Roseraie is located in a very nice area and the reputation of this restaurant convinced us to go along as a family to celebrate my wifeâs birthday. The Michelin recommendations won over the years that appeared at the entrance along with a very tempting proposed menu certainly gave us the impression that we had landed in the right place. The various refined dishes turned out to be very tasty and well balanced.Unfortunately, this did not apply for the overpriced cocktails that were not prepared accordingly. As we all knowâ¦. Eating good food and drinking nice wine in a restaurant is obviously of great importanceâ¦.. but the service and atmosphere also play a very significant role in making such an outing a success.Unfortunately, the âserviceâ was non-existent and the staff gave us all (and more than thatâ¦) the impression that they had absolutely no idea what this is all about. When entering the restaurant, we had to move the tables and chairs ourselves as some of us were squeezed against the wall and no one even bothered to do this for us. The waitress was very pushy and came back several times before we even had time to orderâ¦. and then there was the waiter who kept on serving above our heads and at one point almost scrapped a bit of skin off my daughters head when placing the knife in front of her.The starters came pretty quick and were enjoyed, but then there was the very long wait for the tasty main course. Far too longâ¦. As these should have been served a lot earlier considering that our appetite was really building up.Speed was back when we asked for the bill and the waitress appeared quick as a flash with the card machine.Even more incredible was the fact that the staff did not even both to say goodbye as done generally in restaurants where hospitality, service and education play an important part.I would have been happy to give the Auberge de la Roseraie a better evaluation as the food was goodâ¦. But this touch of Fawlty Towers and Mr Bean âà la belgeâ pushed this evaluation in a different directionâ¦.

Located in the heart of Brabant Wallon, this unmissable address attracts gourmets as much for the quality of the table as for its trendy atmosphere
The atmosphere was cozy and colorful, late on the evening starts some dj music. Easily accessible from the highway, there is a parking and you eat very well. I've been 3 times and never been disappointed. Last time we went on Tuesday evening and it was rather quiet. So that was perfect! Service is also nice and discreet.I recommend the Saumon Teriyaki!Good evening,We thank you for your comment and wish you a very pleasant weekend

An institution in Flemish Brabant opens its doors again. Le Chalet du Lac, now owned by Thierry Van Damme and Michel Grenier, welcomes you with a new team every Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday between 12pm and 2h30pm and between 6h30pm and 10pm
We have been to this restaurant/tea room a couple of times recently after having taken a walk around the Genval lake. The service is courteous and friendly. The prices are a bit over the top for what you get in fact. We only wanted something "small" to eat and ended up having a croque monsieur (EUR 11,00) and croquettes de crevettes et fromage, not exactly copious for EUR 16,00, after waiting for over an hour for it. However, it was a lovely afternoon and the place was therefore quite busy. So we were making allowances for this.

Finally managed to get to this family cosy place, no regret what so ever! Friendly service, well thought of dishes and probably the best meat one can get south of Brussels! We tried Irish, Belgian and French origin beef mains and were not disappointed despite very high expectations. Will be back for sure!

A perfect family lunch for seven. Innovative and delicious menu, preceded by a superb gin & tonic or two (the local GemBlue gin recommended). Polite, courteous and multilingual service (English, French and Spanish). More enjoyable than several of the fêted Michelin-starred restaurants in Brussels.

This is the third time we go to this place. It opened a few months ago and the beginning was tough as there have been a few predecessors (A côté de Chez Clément, etc...) and the competition was high.It is much quieter (which I like) than the "place to be" "Chez Clément" which is next door. The clientèle is also a bit different. We were nicely surprised by their suggestions menu; a variety of fish, meat, seasonal game, etc... Everybody had a different dish and all of them were nice and tasty! We also found that the service was more professional than the first months. Overall I would recommend you pay a visit to "La Cuisine d'Adèle".Cheers, SaraTanks a lot for your comment

One of the best lunch experiences in Belgium. Had the lunch menu, 3 courses for 14 euro! Quick service, great food. Well prepared, fresh and very tasteful. Small details and a great menu. Busy with locals, business old and young. Perhaps not on your route, but worth a small detour.

We reserved and ate early, and it filled up quite quickly. Very pleasant service, not intrusive. A wide selection of local specialist beers, and apparently a decent wine selection. My steak (bleu) was decent quality and well sealed. My companion's dish "suggestion" was slightly less successful with the vegetables being slightly overcooked. However the portions were excellent being perfectly adequate as a full meal. The dishes were well presented without being pretentious. Will be returning.HelloThank you very much for taking the time to write some feedback about your experience at Chez Pierre et Claude.Reading your comments is the best reward we can get for the hard work the whole team is putting in.So thank you so much and hoping to see you soon again
