Seeing the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, we felt compelled to try this place. It was a mixed experience. The waiting staff was welcoming and nice. We had spinach and ricotta ravioli, those were excellent, just as good as in Italy, to the placeâs credit. Unfortunately, the tuna in sesame was not. Ordered red, it was delivered massively overdone and basically impossible to eat. At $20, that hurts!Gracias por tú comentario fue un placer haberlos conocido en nuestro restaurante kalaluna Bistro!!! Estamos agradecidos de cualquier manera por su puntuación!!! Y que pena sobre el plato de atún ya que quizás fue un error de comunicación para saber el término que ud habÃan solicitado sobre el atún!!! We came here for my parentsâ 50th wedding anniversary, wanting to go somewhere a little different for our last night in Manuel Antonio.Everything was thoroughly enjoyable! The atmosphere is fun, feels more like a hipster bar than a raucous family restaurant. Our server Warner was super friendly and engaging, and, when he found out it was my parentsâ anniversary, he kept bringing us gifts throughout the meal.The first thing you notice after you sit down is the menu. Itâs chock full of descriptions and ingredients you wonât see in other restaurants in the area (heart of palm cheese?). All of our plates were delicious; Iâd especially recommend the chilled cucumber soup, the Caribe Atómico hamburger, and the tacos de atún.Theyâve only been in business for a short time, but Iâm hoping they do well by serving up a different experience for visitors to Manuel Antonio. Weâll certainly be back next time weâre in the area.

We're from Asheville, land of craft breweries so when we picked Jaco, my husband began the web searches for craft breweries there. We were not disappointed with Puddlefish. The beers were excellent. Our fav was the watermelon but they were all good. Brunch was excellent. We had the waffles and burritos. Bottomless mimosas were a great touch to our sunday morning too. They kept our glasses full and stopped even adding oj at some point which we thought was great. The staff was top notch and we will definitely be back.
