After an arduous and long day of travel i ended in Waukesha. The hotel restaurant was closed and they recommended Taylorâs. The bar tender was great and friendly. He poured me a nice drink and gave me a food menu. I tried the crab Rangoon spring rolls; awesome! I also got the grilled cheese to go with the cucumber salad side. The salad was unexpectedly wonderful. The grilled cheese perfectly toasted.

Being that this place is in our neighborhood, we thought we'd give it a try for a Friday night fish fry. Our group of 6 decide to take one of the large booths in the bar area. With all the great restaurant choices in a five mile radius of this place, this place should be avoided unless you are stuck there as a hotel guest. The breaded cod was about as bland and tasteless as you can get, potato pancakes were average at best, service was well below average. After sitting for 10 minutes we had to go to the bar to request a waiter. A drink order was taken and the surprise came when the bill arrived. $11.75 for an average glass of cabernet only to find out that if given an option, there was also an $8 glass available. Place is nice and clean but lacks interesting decor. Food is good for a pub scene. They have a lot of good beers that change out often. Pizza and burgers are good, but nothing special. Nice place to grab a quick bite for something different.
