Arrived in perpignan to watch a rugby game and ate out on several occasions this was by far the best meal. Its a slightly odd combination of french and thai cuisine. Atmosphere was superb, staff although they had to cope with our halting french were really helpful. Starter was recommended by the waitress, spring rolls and dumplings with lettuce and a spicy sauce - superb There were three of us two shared the Marmite (no its a pot not the yeast attract) of assorted seafood - wow large head on prawns, scallops, cuttle fish, mussels, cockles all served in a pot of rice really great flavours, substantial portion highly recommendedMy other son had a wok curry dish which again was outstanding, seafood with coco nut milk , green curry etc - superb Wasn't particularly expensive , beer press ion was icy stella, wine was cheap and excellent - highly recommended

We visited here as we were staying nearby and it was said to be vegetarian friendly on tripadvisor; whereas the other three restaurants at this location did not seem to be at all. It's a bizarre setting for a high quality restaurant, in the middle of an un-finished commercial estate / holiday resort - it seems to be one of those locations where investment didn't materialise. It was a Friday night and it was very empty, which was eerie but the waitress came to us and, although she had little English and we had a reasonable amount of French, there were still some things lost in translation, such as me saying I was vegetarian and the resulting Goat's Cheese Salad came with bacon on it.The service was slow but it was good value and the Chef, who was possibly also the owner, was very attentive and well mannered, checking our food was in order and even getting stuck in to moving tables around when a group arrived that wanted to sit outside and there wasn't anywhere ready for them.

Just a typical breakfast offered. I had a fresh(!) squeezed orange juice, pain au chocolate and espresso. Very good and close to my hotel (where breakfast was $$$). I would definitely return and i am sorry i missed lunch.

We recently had lunch at Cafe Catalogne and the whole experience was excellent. The manager was extremely friendly and spoke good English, while the other waitress was also very polite. They have a large selection of tea, and the wine was nice. We ordered the plat du jour and it was one of the best dishes we've had, a delicious seafood risotto. The entree was outstanding, as was the dessert. Not only was it one of the best meals we have had in France, it was also reasonably priced. It is only a 5min walk from the train station, and well worth it. 5 massive stars from us!
