Reviews on Gastropub food in Limerick, Province of Munster, Ireland. There once was an Irish city… You might think "naughty poem" when you hear the word Limerick, but in truth the city inspires so much more than just knowing giggles. Medieval castles and churches give the city a grand feel, while the pubs crawl with lively locals and students who are all craving just one more pint of Guinness. The Hunt Museum boasts a collection of pieces from history's most important and influential artists, while the Foynes Flying Boat Museum will marvel visitors of all ages with its whimsical flying machines.

The Terrace Bar is a stylish place to meet throughout the day and evening in an informal riverside setting. The perfect location right in the heart of Limerick city centre A favourite for the working lunch with local business people and is a popular meeti
A really mixed review. Itâs a decent hotel style menu with something for everyone. The food was decent but nothing was outstanding. The service, however, was really mixed and spotty. Maybe it was because it was a Bank Holiday weekend but everything was off. Or waiter was in and out and others would step in. It seemed to be a rotating group of servers. It took a while for drinks and we were offered bread even while a plate of bread was in the table. Someone came by to offer us a dessert menu just after our order for entrees was taken. We were twice brought another tableâs food as well as someone elseâs takeaway order.

My wife and I have dropped in here for a mini breakfast on a few Saturday's. The breakfast is excellent, well cooked and pleasantly presented. We normally go for a mini breakfast at â¬7.50 each which is excellent value including tea and toast or brown bread. There is a warm atmosphere in the place and the staff are always very pleasant. I would highly recommend it.

Sometimes when busy with work itâs the neighborhood restaurant that takes top place. This can be a hit and miss option but in this care I was surprised. Faultless food and service makes for a memorable event, well done and thanks for making a mundane lunchtime a one to celebrate. Dear M7629, Very many thanks for reviewing us! It was great to see that you enjoyed your time here and had a fab lunch. We hope to see you again soon! Best regards, Anthony

A great location on the edge of the city overlooking the River Shannon. Great food, service, music and Irish dancing. Very friendly staff, especially our waitress Lizzie - she was extremely helpful with our food choices. Overall had a great experience and will definitely be back on my next visit to Limerick.

Very unorganized pub, there were no tables inside so were told to order and pay for food and they would bring it to us outside at the picnic tables. Waited and waited in the cold and food did not come so went in and they asked what I ordered and it eventually did come. Seats came available inside but never told us and we sat out in the cold with a few other poor patrons. Food was just ok, nothing special or memorable here.
