Iitially, an inauspicious location, tucked away in a residential area of Las Rozas. The terrace is a bit plain - plenty of space, and nice furniture, but no views or decor to take your gaze away from the residential flats all around. No problem however, the waiters were fast and efficient, a mini hamburger for the kid and 3 excellent G&T's for the adults swiftly arrived. If anything, the service was TOO efficient - they kept checking with us whether we were ready to place a food order as we sipped our drinks, despite us telling everyone we would order later on. This is not a criticism, I would rather have eager waiters than be ignored, and the staff were all really pleasant. We got a complimentary tapas of deep fried breaded calimari with the drinks - super fresh, hot and crispy. Would put many a dedicated seafood venue to shame, as the flesh was perfectly cooked - soft and juicy, no hint of the chewy freebie stuff you often get as tapas. We then ordered a quesadilla, tosta de foie gras a la plancha, and a mini pizza with jamon, porcini and truffle oil. As an afterthought we also ordered the revuelta of jamon and eggs with foie gras (pate) - the latter served on the side as one of us was not a fan! The kid's miniburger (plus a portion of fries) was a hit - big enough to fill a 4yo up, and easy on the pocket. The pizza had a nice base, and good toppings. The tomato sauce was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer, but overall, a nice dish. Foie gras came on a nice crisp toast, and was delicious - again, there was an onion jam which was just slightly sweeter than ideal, but again, not a criticism - good tapas at a good price. The quesadilla was quite light (no bad thing!) and just hot (chilli wise) enough to warm the palate. The revuelta, ordered as an afterthought, was actually really well executed. Nicely runny pair of large eggs (left whole for us to break) on a bed of fried potatoes & jamon, served with some lovely fresh (and piping hot) bread rolls. Fabulous. All washed down with an Albariño - bit pricey at 18â¬, but very nice. The place filled up over the course of our meal - and the waitress advised that we'd been very lucky to snag a walk-in table at 9pm, she said booking at weekends was normally essential. In summary, this is a local bar with a really nice varied gastro menu. It won't break the bank (dinner for 3 adults & 1 child, with 3 copas, good bottle of wine, and a 0.5L Erdi ger wheat beer). I thoroughly enjoyed the night. I love what they are aiming for, and I will deffo return to check on progress.

I decided to stop by for a snack and tried the croquettes. They were crispy on the outside with nicely flavored chicken inside.

he ido muchas veces y tanto la comida como el trato han sido de lo mejor sin duda, los platos muy originales y la verdad es que te sientes como en casa! Es un sitio muy agradable donde comes barato y muy bien, ademas, con música en directo incluida!
