Stopped here for lunch. Had the set meal. It came hot and was very tasty. The cafe gourmand gave us a raspberry creme brûlée, which was delicious. The service was excellent.Thank you so much !Macéo's team

Were wandering around early evening and liked the look of it. Lovely old building. A brief enquiry ascertained that they were fully booked for the next few nights but that it was first come first served on the street side seating (terrace). We duly turned up at 7:30pm to be only the 2nd couple seated. It filled up by 8;30pm. Weâd had a long day so the early start suited us.Very pleasant, excellent English speaking front of house young man. I had the âmarket menuâ 3 courses at â¬28 (ish) and the wife had two courses at â¬23. â¬29 bottle of local wine (one of the cheaper ones on the list).Food excellent. Street side ambiance excellent. Almost tempted to go again tonight.

I dined here with five friends, one who is vegetarian. During our stay in La Rochelle, this was the first restaurant who actually accommodated my vegetarian friend - great effort was made to serve something delicious other than pulsed vegetables!! Excellent avocado and prawn starter and the fish burger was sooo delicious. Wonderful service too.
