Came here tonight and has great burgers and fries. I can definitely recommend the chicken blood sauce burger (sounds worse than it is as it's very delicious and great sauce). The catch burger is also really tasty ( ask waiter if fish was fresh in first). We tried the mojito and passionfruit mojito and I can recommend but the passionfruit mojito I thought was amazing. Wonderful service by staff as well. Decor is very hippy and 70s I felt. Definitely recommend. Tip: they take only cash payment

Newly opened on the sunny island of Penang, Olive Kitchen + Bar is the latest gastro bar to open in the ever popular Penang Island. Music, Drinks, Food, what better way to experience Penang's entertainment and night life?
We enjoyed a few visits here whilst staying at the E&O, which is around the corner. The Indian meals were lovely, as was the ice cold Tiger. Excellent value and good service. Good sports coverage on the large tv's too.

Located very close to the Clan Jetties which is where everything happens at Chinese New Year, this restaurant always delivers. The way they cook their fish is unbeatable anywhere in Penang, including the fine dining restaurants; and you won't leave feeling you've been robbed. Prices are nett, the Mojitos excellent and the quantities generous. The owners are gracious, accomodating and have a good palette. Look for the gems on the menu including the mushroom soup, barramundi in basil (I prefer the pan fried to the papillote), lamb chops, lemon grass & crème brulée. Those visiting from France would appreciate the standard of cuisine at Viva Victoria and definitely the way they cook seafood which is never overcooked. This is an excellent place to meet friends and has the advantage of a small seating area outside. It can get rather noisy on busy days which can make having a conversation difficult: otherwise, highly recommended.
