My wife and I cycled over to the Cock Inn for lunch and it was the first time we had tried this newly renovated establishment and we certainly weren't disappointed. It is a very popular, busy place but nonetheless the staff were welcoming and the freshly prepared food was excellent. As the food is freshly prepared there can be a little wait but it is worth it.My other advice to anyone is always book a table.Just one comment for the management to consider is for a secure bicycle anchor point(s) or parking area. Whilst one of your boundary fence posts did the job, I'm sure a better arrangement could be sorted just like the electric charge points for cars.A big thanks to all the team.

Earlier in the year I had a bad experience at the Darwin celebrating my fathers birthday with the family. When I complained the matter was not resolved to my satisfaction, and I said I would never return. However I was convinced to give it another chance, what a mistake. The food is of mediocre quality, small portions, with a poor selection of vegetables, certainly not worth the price. There are much better alternatives, one being just down the road. My recommendation is try these instead.Hi Stevejc123,Thank you for coming to visit us again. I'm sorry that on this occasion we didn't meet your expectations. We take great pride in the quality and standard of our food, from the fresh preparation to the suppliers we choose for the ingredients. the prices are carefully considered and we do have options like our set menus and lunch offerings that offer great value for money. we have designed our menu around having 20 side order options of vegetables and potatoes that we feel cover most bases on peoples choices to compliment their meals. We welcome all feedback both good and bad, and if you would be kind enough to take the time to email me personally with your thoughts and ideas for your comments above it would give me a greater understanding of how we let you down this time.yours SincerelyIain MacPhersonGeneral [email protected]
