The starter was very nice, Nothing special. Smoked salmon and prawn pot, I ordered the seared sea bass fillets as a main, only to be told they ha run out, so I asked for salmon, they'd run out of that and also chicken. So my option was cod and chips. It was horrible. The chips were greasy and overcooked the fish was just crumbly. I had to scoop it up on the fork. My partner had roast beef. He asked for some horseradish, after waiting for about ten minutes he was told they were making him some, eventually when he had nearly finished the meal the staff came back and informed him that they couldn't find any. Horseradish with roast beef in any restaurant is the norm. What a waste of an afternoon and money. We didn't come out of there praising the food, needless to say.Thank you for letting us know about your recent visit to The George & Dragon. Thanks to Tanya for helping make our Sunday lunch such an enjoyable experience. Decent menu and portions. Service speed could have been better but it was very busy so fair enough. Excellent roast beef should be noted

Came in for dinner and drinks with a friend earlier this week. Served by James who had a great knowledge of the drinks and food menu, demonstrated brilliant skill and professionalism as a barman. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. Once we finished, James came over to collect our plates and offered us another drink, a courtesy pubs donât always provide. Adam and Tom also very helpful. Will be back soon. 5 star experience, keep up the good work

We Visited O'Neills while we were in Brentwood for the Day. We had done a bit of research on where to eat with Children and choose O'Neills because the menu they advertised for children was perfect for what we wanted.On Ordering food we was told they didn't have a children's menu although it is clearly advertised on the website. We therefore had to order Adult meals for the children. Food Was good but lots of waste due to children having to eat Adult meals. Perhaps the website needs changing showing they do not supply children's menus.Hello Phil,We are ever so sorry for the inconvenience we caused you on day you chose to visit O'Neill's for your lunch. The children's menu is a new edition to our current menu and goes live this Saturday. The member of staff on shift at the time wasn't aware of this and that is our fault entirely for the lack of communication between the team. They have all had a brief following this complaint to ensure this doesn't happen again.To apologise for this we would like to invite you back to have your children try our new menu and hopefully we can restore your faith in us.Your feedback is important to us.
