Every time we have visited, we are not let down. The food is always first class and the service is always good with more than attentive staff on hand for any queries. Even down to making sure the dog has a bowl of water.Good wine list and the menu has always something new. Wonderful Saturday night dinner for 4. A fairly central location in Bath with easy access to all local attractions & shopping.Young, friendly & professional staff combined with superb food gave us an evening to remember.I would recommend the pork tenderloin as that was exceptional and for something different try the beef 'chaps' it's a signature dish and the presentation is something I'm pretty sure you won't see anywhere else!4 main meals with a couple of drinks each come to around £90, which was excellent value considering the superb quality of the experience.Make sure you book as it was pretty full on a Saturday night.

My husband and I came here for lunch for my birthday.The choice of menu was great, the food was delicious (all three courses) the beef was cooked to perfection.The service was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble, this is a lovely place to come for lunch or evening meal, we will be back!!Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, it's a pleasure to read. The food all seemed freshly prepared and presented, but without the "Gastro" price.A delicious chicken and leak pie, chips and salad. A large slice of Stilton and Broccoli quich with chips and salad. Both under £10.A good choice of Real ales, wines etc.,A chalk board with a variety of daily specials for mains and sweets .Very friendly staff, nice pub feel and dog friendly. Lovely lunch here on Friday. Excellent food with prompt friendly service. I had the Somerset Reuben sandwich which I can recommend. The beef dripping chips as a side order were delicious.
