We are delighted to have opened our first pub in the North West and what better location than stunning Alderley Edge. We have lovingly restored and renovated the building to highlight original features and create a warm welcoming bar, a beautiful dining r
We visited about 7pm on a Sunday evening and had a wonderful meal. The mussels and beef bourginon that I had and the cheese soufflé and duck my husband had was all fabulous. The service was great and the team even put the radiator on for me when I requested it as I hadnât dressed in a jumper (despite knowing better!) Always lovely and a great place. Highly recommended. Thank you Alison for the lovely review! It is most appreciated! We look forward to seeing you soon to enjoy our warming Autumn Menu!

We dined here on Saturday for my birthday with my children. The restaurant temperature was extremely hot and was told the air conditioning was broken. There was a large party of approx 10/12 adults in the same area, who were very loud. This would be ok but the language was foul and totally inconsiderate. Maybe when seating guests it may be better to accommodate this issue better as we too was celebrating a birthday, however our experience wasnât enjoyable. The steak was cooked beautifully. I did order a jacket potato instead of chips However got served chips. There was also a hair in my dessert too. We spent £160 and did not enjoy the evening at all. This is such a shame as our last visit in May was great. Overall extremely disappointing not sure if or when we will return. Hi Ellen, we are disappointed that you left us feeling disappointed. We are happy to hear that our steaks were cooked beautifully but we are not so happy that you had other issues on your visit. We have been hard at work, investigating your concerns and have since had our air conditioning fixed and continue to improve our standards further by taking your comments on board. We really hope to see you again in the near future so you can see first-hand the improvements that have been made. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your valuable feedback.

The Frozen Mop in Mobberley is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and
Booking by automated system which was a bad start. No option but vegan gravy on the roast in an attempt to make everyone happy that has clearly failed me and the food was merely ok. No facilities whatsoever for smokers. Glum looking staff. Hi PhilThanks for your review. On the automated service as stated if you press option number 2 you can come straight through to the pub and book that way. The vegan gravy does satisfy most of our visiting guest and this is first for me in hearing someone did not enjoy it. Please, if you visit again do not hesitate to ask to speak to a member of manager at the time, instead of us hearing for the first time on trip advisor that you did not like it. We would happily of solved the issue for you. There are ash trays on outside tables and one at the front door of the pub also.If you care to discuss the matter further please feel free to give me a call and press option 2.RegardsStuart

Iâve just left after going to this pub for my mother in laws birthday. We arrived and there was no record of the booking (party of 11) although the manager apparently knew we were coming?? The staff were very young and clearly inexperienced. No menus were given out, we ordered drinks they came wrong numerous time with a £25 bottle of wine plonked in the middle of the Table. The food was terrible, kids portions were tiny with cheese on toast consisting of a cheese slice on warm bread, not even toasted. The adults food was dry, no flavour and not worth the money. The worst thing about the whole experience was the attitude of the manager who we now know is the owner! When giving him our thoughts in a polite way, he interrupted, tried to justify and asked me if I wanted to leave. No apology or even a care given. This is a place we have been as familyâs for years but would never return. I never write bad reviews as I always believe everyone can be having a bad day, but this was just on another level.
