South Side Thai is easy to miss even if you know the area. It is tiny and tucked away next to a pizzeria and vape store - it just doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside. Overall, ambiance is lacking both inside and out but the food is very good. When you first enter it looks like an Asian take out only restaurant but then you are brought in to the adjoining dining room. The menu offers many interesting curry, pad Thai and fusion entrees. We found the appetizers to be nothing special but the entrees were very good.

I have tried their Mexican omelet, (which have shrimp in it), Cajun killer omelet (lightly spicy), and their omelet bearing their name Savores. This so far is my favorite. ( I might be judging a little to fast because there are a lot more of their items I must experience). This particular omelet has pork, red onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and plantains. There homefries are not over done (thank heavens I am not a fan of crispiness, if you desired to have them well done I suggest you request it so. I would also suggest their hot sauce for any of their omelets. this restaurant has always been very clean, and my coffee and water was always filled
