Reviews on Fusion food in Split, Dalmatia, Croatia. The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

ARTiÄOK /a:titÊÉk/ as in artichoke, an edible flower, or as a pun which describes our restaurant philosophy - ART whether it is on a wall, or on a plate, and ÄOK which in Croatian refers to a small bite, a nibble or a munch. We're located in the historic
A small charming modern restaurant just at the edge of he old town. The menu is short and imaginative backed up by cooking with flair. Faultless service and comfortable dinning room. Very decent value for the quality of the food and Croatian wines. A meal so satisfy any Pope...(if you forgive the obscure Monty Python reference).

Feel-good hearty vegan street food in a small family owned diner right next to spectacular Peristil square.
I disagree with VeganHayleys review in September... Marta's Veggie Fusion is very allergy aware and anyone who has an allergy and does not tell the restauranteur before ordering is being irresponsible. Allergens like soya, mustard and gluten are written on the menus so easy to decide what to have, but staff are happy to advise on others. The place is great and Marta is very friendly and helpful. I explained what allergies I had and all the information was relayed back to the chefs and dishes I ordered checked as to suitability.I ordered falafel bowl with mix a la wok for my husband with a side of skin on fries to share. The food was faultless, very tasty, fresh and scrumptious and filling too. We ordered a tiramisu and lime cheesecake to take away as we were full after clearing our plates, packed separately as the cheesecake contained one of my allergens. The cakes eaten later sat on our balcony on our cruise ship with a cup of tea were fantastic.Marta's is a must visit place for all vegans and vegetarians in Split. Highly recommended.
