Welcome to Chee Tayeb, an authentic modern Lebanese Bistro/Café in Perth City. Chee Tayeb is a family owned and operated venue. Enjoy the best in traditional Lebanese cuisine in an atmosphere true to the Lebanese culture. From the exceptional service and
Friendly service. Staff were obliging and informative. Three of us arrived for dinner before going to His Majesty's.There is a tasting plate, normally for two, however offered to extend it for three. Tastes were very fresh, Lebanese bread freshly made. We had chicken skewers and lamb Koftas.Wine list is small. There are beers available. Coffee is good, Lebanese coffee was well infused. Occasionally there is someone available to read coffee grounds. You would need to enquire.

Atmosphere was nice. Wine list is very limited. We ordered one bottle of shriaz, halfway through dinner, ordered a second, but they had run out. Entre of prawns was strong, very fishy.Main of duck breast was delicious. Main of steak... ordered med rare... it came out med well done. Still nice but disappointed. Wine was poured by waitor at the start of the night but then we had to it outselves. No drama but just inconsistent. 3/5 underwhelming.

We had our own selection from the menu after some helpful recommendations from the staff consisting of; seared scallops, prawns, charcoal squid, lamb cutlets, brocollini, and roti bread. We're so happy with everything we ordered and we personally provided our compliments to the chef to tell her how much we enjoyed the meal.Do not pass up the opportunity to visit Red Opium, it's one not to be missed! We'll be sure to visit again as soon as we can.
