We stumbled across this restaurant in Roses old town. The food is excellent and freshly cooked. The menu changes daily dependant on the food available and is very inventive. Fatima who served us was fabulous, she made us feel at home and made delicious white and red sangria. The chef came along to check we were enjoying the food which is a great touch. The whole of the menu was delicious. Make sure you go for dinner if your in Roses, we will certainly be going back.

I'm a vegetarian but the rest of my party said the steaks were amazing. I had other choices and they were good too. Friendly staff and good service. Nice extras. Pleasant relaxed environment. Recommend it highly.

Gastro Taberna. Especializados en tapas, arroces, ensaladas, carnes, pescados y plancha. Tradición, calidad y proximidad con un toque "salao". Todo elaborado al momento, cocina abierta donde el comensal ve en directo el proceso.

My partner is vegan and Iâm vegetarian so itâs not easy in this part of Spain (we thought thereâd be more tapas choice but it was limited to three vegan dishes nearly everywhere). So the multilingual menus claimed the creamy vegetable rice could be made vegan (but be aware that the English menu substituted the vegan rice with one made with pigâs trotter - this is an error). The chef came out twice to check what we would eat which was good of him - he was clearly anxious to get it right, and he did. They also offered some tasty nibbles whilst we waited for our main dish. Can recommend the spicy almonds. Hola Claire, lamentamos el error en la carta y que la oferta de platos vegetarianos no sea muy amplia. Très mauvais accueil. Les serveurs passaient devant nous sans même un bonjour.Nous avions réservé et aucune table pour nous malgré que nous étions à lâheure indiquée. On nous a installé sur une table non débarrassée, quand celle-ci le fut, elle a été essuyée à lâaide dâune éponge que je nâutiliserais pas pour nettoyer ma poubelle !Nous avons commandé un couscous, il était bon mais le vin lâaccompagnant n'était pas la bouteille que nous nous avions commandé et qui figurait sur la carte des vins car servie sans capsule ni collerette, du vin en pichet, quandâ nous avons réclamé, on nous a répondu que lâon avait rien à dire pour un vin à 8,95â¬. Ce genre de vin en bouteille est vendu en Espagne 1,95 en supermarché ! La mauvaise foi était de mise et dorénavant, on évitera ce genre dâétablissement sans aucune classe ni égard vis-à -vis des nouveaux clients.
