From there, it's a short boat ride across to Tenglo Island for views of snow-capped volcanic peaks. Santiago is a two-hour flight away.

My friend and I came here for dinner. We ordered the sharing platter 1, as recommended by our waiter. The food was delicious! Freshly made and prepared. Our waiter was also great, asking us if everything was OK and keeping us supplied with cocktails. Would come back if we were in Puerto montt for longer

El local no te deja pasado a fritura, es limpio y bonito... pero su comida es buena solo eso... poca variedad y si estas en Angelmo no puedes NO tener curanto.... la atencion poco eficiente.... y no es tan económicoco... comida buena pero no extraordinara

I went with my family. It was recommended to me as place with great food. I must say I was disappointed. It wasnât horrible, but the sushi was definitely not great. The sushi rolls were falling apart, they didnât have so much flavor as I hoped for. I would not recommend it!

This is a beautiful and expansive cafe with a large and varied menu. However it's hard to enjoy these features thanks to their ridiculously slow service and sky-high prices. I had their "once individual" (single high tea) and the portions were nothing short of absurd. I received four little triangles of toasted bread, a couple of slices of ham, a pot of mashed avocado and a slice of cake. At one point I asked for more hot water for my tea, which I did get--approximately 25 minutes later. The staff need to get their act together.

We visited this restaurant tonight based on the reviews here on tripadvisor. We were certainly not disappointed. It's style is that of a small Parisian neighbourhood restaurant: the daily menu on a chalk board that is brought to your table and a three three-course set menu (for 12k pesos) with three dishes to choose from per course. The food is great: perfectly prepared, creative, perfect portion sizes, friendly staff and the most incredible view of that Puerto Montt bay. As far as flavors and combinations go: this chef can certainly cook! What Borago is to Santiago is this place to Puerto Montt - at least in our humble opinion. Is there room for improvement: sure. The biggest issue we had was the incredible speed at which everything was served. We would have liked some more time in between our dishes. And matching wines by the glass would have been perfect, but I do realize that that is not (yet) commonplace in Chile.So do visit! One word of caution: they don't speak english - not a single word. But that shouldn't be a problem, they are patient and we could understand the menu just fine with the little spanish we know.
