Pequeña taberna situada en el barrio del Realejo. Nuestra especialidad son los vinos, tanto nacionales como internacionales. Todas nuestras referencias suelen ser de copeo excepto casos aislados. También contamos con una variada carta de cervezas tanto de
We visited The Kafka Tavern on our last evening in Granada and were so glad we'd walked the extra ten minutes to find it as it featured the best wine list we encountered in a 10-day visit to Spain as well as outstanding (complimentary) tapas. It was a cold night and we were appreciative of the delicious and warming wild mushroom soup which arrived with our first glass of wine. We were keen to try wine from lesser-known regions of Spain and the bar featured a really helpful wine map and blackboard listing wine types, regions and flavours. During our evening, we tried a gorgeous range of wines from Cadiz, Toro, Almansa and Rioja accompanied by cous cous and roasted veg and ox cheeks in red wine. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and there was a nice mix of locals and tourists who visited through the evening. We thoroughly recommend a visit!Dear Michelle and Darren,It is a pleasure to read your review. For us it is very important to know the satisfaction of our customers because it will keep us trying to improve every day and discover new wines and dishes. Here you have your house.Javi.

We are a small restaurant , which offers a different cuisine with a touch of creativity.
We really enjoyed our Sunday evening meal with our two well-behaved children. The homemade bread was warm and delicious as was the goat's cheese and potato starter. The veal steak was extremely tasty and tender and a very reasonable price. As was a beef steak on a previous occasion. The pasta was sublime. We took away most of the paella which was much better the next day when the flavour had had time to come out. I will order their more innovative dishes next time, I think it's their specialty. I wish we had had room for dessert! The service was in English as was the menu. Very informative and helpful. We look forward to our next time! Afterwards, I would recommend a nightcap at Barberia in Monachil pueblo, a 5 minute drive further on from the Monachil barrio, where Lucuma is, especially their coffee with a piece of dark chocolate at the bottom!Thank you so much for your opinion. We hope you come back soon.

Small, unpretentious restaurant that serves the most amazing dishes.Dont be put off by external appearance of restaurant as it looks nothing special. Presentation is key here and it certainly delivers the wow factor. Every dish is presented so artistically and beautifully. Excellent service too.

Stylish , midern restaurant- restairant came highly recommended from friends who live in Granada and whilst the decor was nit roght for me- too modern, not welcoming- the food and service more than compensated. Contempory , fusion food that is executed so very well. Food very well presented to table.

Found on the old road out of Durcal, heading towards Granada, this really does produce some excellent food.We booked for Sunday lunch, just as well as all the outside tables were full, and continued to be so throughout the afternoon. We tried the tempura langoustine with tempura vegetables, perfect batter, this is a chef who knows what he is doing! Also the grilled monk fish on skewers came with a silky garlic butter sauce, and a Moroccan influenced salad - all great, and generous portions, as was the tapas we had with our stater drinks.Try the baked cheese cake, to die for!And if you are on a budget, or very hungry, go for one of their burgers, it would easily feed a family. If you are in the area, go - bare in mind that it is closed Monday and Tuesday.

We used to go to the previous establishment but it was not very good. Very run down and in need of repair. The new people have done an excellent job in changing this cafe into a bright, light and lovingly restored building and patio. The inside is really good. The staff are smartly dressed and very pleasant and attentive. Food and drinks are well priced and good quality. Toilets, very important, are clean and bright and handwashing facilities clean and plentiful. This now ranks with Black and White as my favourite cafe/bar in Otura. Please go and try it and support the people who are doing a really good job in turning this around.

Fantastic find - very rustic and very friendly. We stopped by for a drink and to check out the menu for dinner later and we were automatically saved a small plate of delicious grilled fish.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful despite our lack of Spanish and their little English.Returned that evening for a fab meal under the trees - atmosphere was buzzing with locals and the lights in the trees made it feel cosy.Starters of meats and cheeses were excellent. Dishes included grilled pork, grilled steak and cod in aioli. Our daughter's burger was huge and delicious.Really recommend this rural local restaurant if you're in the neighbourhood.

My friend recommended this restaurant, while visiting Granada we went there with my boyfriend and we were really satisfied, the food was amazing, the waiters very polite and helpful, we had only one night in the city but I wish it was more, cause we would definitely come back there. I really recommended this place :)
