In the historic center of Santiago de Compostela, a few meters from the museum of contemporary art you will find the restaurant Garum Bistro, a casual and cozy gastronomic outing with the air of an old tavern that stands out for its fair decoration, witho
This should be a first amazing hotel (Altair) and very nearby restaurant (Garum). This clicked on all cylinders. Two of us had 4 tapas dishes (top quality and good quantity) and a dessert and we were amazed with all courses. The team was so personable and great to interact with. If back in this part of Spain, this is a mandatory visit!!!!Thanks for your comments. We hope to see you soon again!

The service was great, pleasant, communicative and efficient. The food was delicious, very well presented and lived up to my expectations without being overpriced. l would strongly recommend it and would like to go back and try the rest of their menu.

I had dinner there last night after reading good reviews. Couldnât get in the night before but last night it wasnât busy at all. Had tomato salad which they are famous for, and even though I ordered a starter portion it was enormous and I could only eat a half portion. Tasty enough if you like tomatoes! For main course I had hake, Muros style. It looked beautiful on a bed of sliced potatoes, but in true Galician style it was way over salted. I donât know why they use so much salt. Itâs overpowering and you canât taste the fish at all!Maybe another dish would be less salty....

Smallish menu but enough to cater for most tastes. Portions were plentiful and tapas looked appetising. Seems to be popular with young locals. Good value. Lovely garden, with a fantastic view of the cathedral, but sadly because of the weather we had to eat inside which was comfortable.

This was our second and final night in Santiago, still celebrating the end of our Camino. We'd had all sorts of food on our way, from fine dining to simple bocadillos. This place fell somewhere in the middle. Food was pretty cheap, certainly great value. Burgers were outstanding, good quality meat and really well cooked. Friendly staff topped it off. 5/5 for us!

The place is so sweet, wonderful atmosphere. We got free boritos along with our beer and mohito. Were great.Ordered mushroom croquettes, fahitas and amazing grilled potatos with garlic and olive oil..All was excellant. Browney for desert.Paid 37 Euros. Worth every penny!!!

Galician Food Market
After a day of walking the Camino, we decided to have a nice meal and found this restaurant to be highly recommended on TripAdvisor as well as on the Michelin guide.Chef Henrique is basically the cook, the waiter, the receptionist, the sommelier, etc. He does it all ! And he does it with so much passion and gusto !The food - to die for. We ordered almost all of the main dishes on the menu and shared them including 2 desserts. Each and every single one - so unique and unusual and yet has a robust homecooked feel. After dinner, chef walked us out and even called a taxi for us (he really does it all !).If you ever come to Padron - don't miss eating here. Gracias por vuestra visita.Esperemos que el camino la visita a nuestra casa tengáis buen recuerdo.

Local renovated so that our customers can enjoy a very pleasant atmosphere, with the best treatment and a kitchen worked so that they do not stop visiting us. We have a terrace in an intimate square with its centenary olive tree where you can from chop ou
Visited this establishment several times during our stay in Santiago and was never disappointed with either the food , the drink or the atmosphere.Amongst the dishes we had were fish, pork, vegatables, and wonderful pastries.I would without doubt visit here again for an authentic taste of Galicia.
