Tiny eatery on a quiet - almost isolated - street of the 14ème arrondissement, run by two Korean sisters (the elder one impressively dynamic). Short menu given the size limitations of the restaurant and its kitchen. Whatâs served is authentic and quite good, albeit a bit toned down for French tastes. In spite of the Koreansâ love for meat (beef in particular), they do cater to vegetarians. Packed at lunchtime, due to the great value of the set lunch at 13â¬. More a three-and-a-half than a four-star.

OKA is a One Michelin Star restaurant suggesting a gastronomic and fusion food between products from Brasil and France.
We opted for the shorter tasting menu, and there was more than enough food. However, next time we will go for the longer menu as the food was outstanding. Amazing unusual flavors of every dish we had! I don't usually eat black beans but the black bean soufflé was more than palatable. I have a sweet tooth and the deserts were some of the best I ever had. The chocolate ball with an under-layer of white chocolate filled with passion fruit compote was decorated like a Christmas tree ornament and had the most amazing combination of hard and soft, sweet and acid, chocolate and fruity. This place is gearing for a second Mechelin star.Dearwe thank you for your nice comment and kind words. Thank you for your so nice description of our desserts, and of our black beans dish which is really specific to the Chef Raphael Rego We hope we will go back soon to discover other fantastic flavors at OKA. Best regards

Went based on reviews and was not disappointed. This is a 9 table place but yet a great team bringing really good food to the patrons. Plus the chef was willing to accommodate our wishes on an escargot appetizer and the results were fantastic. For the main plates, I had the seabream and my wife the veal. Both were excellent and the chocolate desert was as well. The star was the appetizer, but this is definitely a place to put on your list!
