I visited the Drunken Duck while staying in Mito. It was a very average bar- the food was ok but not amazing, the service was friendly but a bit slow. They offer an interesting menu in terms of food but the beer menu is underwhelming. Thank you for review Natalia, we have taken heed to your words. Since your last visit we have changed our food menu, added more beers including a Draught Craft Beer of the week and are forever trying to improve our service to our customers. I hope you get the chance to visit us again.
Where to eat Pub food in Mito: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I can not call myself a connaisseur but spending a lovely evening in this pretty little restaurant was a delight in all respects. Each of the 6 servings had this wonderful mix of French taste with Japanese attention for detail and finesse. The owner, cook and lady serving was one and the same only helped in the kitchen by her mother. For those who would like to learn her cooking skills you can follow training classes in her restaurant at daytime. Chinatsu or 'Tina' for us foreigners is a lovely talented host. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the Hanakago Gozen with a combination of delicious local ingredients. Very friendly staff and felt really welcomed.Located near Kairakuen and so highly recommend visiting here when in the area.
