Hungry for a spicy lighter fare rather than Mexican dish. Dosa crepe looked interesting. Glad my hubby and I stopped in. The Spicy special dosa Marsala chicken was very tasty. My hubby had it in beef. Both flavorful and spicy. I would definitely eat here again. I understand they all have a food truck.

A Japanese eatery bringing a West Coast feel to BC's interior. Reservations are recommended!
Contrary to what I've read by others, we experienced very good service on our first visit to Bluetail Sushi Bistro. Our son, who is a real sushi fan, and was the one who got me to enjoy sushi, rated this place as "average" and so I defer to his judgement.

Serving original Asian fusion food since 2011. RAMEN & NOODLES, ASIAN BURGERS, GRILLS & RICE BOWLS! Taste something FRESH & UNIQUE Asian food.
We love Japanese food so stopped by this place for dinner. The karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and prawn mayo (ebi mayo) were wonderful--very much like you'd get in Japan. The chicken was perfectly fried but still moist inside and the prawns were absolutely fresh. Ramen was not quite so good (the broths lacked the complexity that is present in really good ramen), but tasty nonetheless. I had the miso sesame and my husband had a fusion version with coconut broth and chicken.

Tell the server how much spice you wish, because the menu offers all sorts of choices. The wonton appetizer offers the same pork dumplings as one of the main dishes; both were good, but we liked the pan-fried app with the sauce better than the steamed ones.Soups were good; tempura excellent; everything was attractive and fresh. Prices are very fair. The room has interesting understated decor, and service is just right. This is a winner!

Moxie's Grill & Bar Kelowna, a casual dining restaurant is within walking distance from the Orchard Park Mall. We offer a full menu, bar and great patio. Open late.
Went to Moxies for pre-movie drinks in the bar. What a mistake that was!One bartender/server behind the bar saw us and didn't even acknowledge us. After sitting idle there for a 4-5 minutes, a bartender finally came over to see us. The fruit flies greeted us before any staff. The bar was surrounded by gaggle of fruit flies. We asked if we could move to a booth (which was not difficult as the place was nearly empty); the bartender acknowledged that there were alot and that's it. No apology. We found them hovering around us on the other side of the bar too!The fact that menus have drink stains on them is a sign that cleanliness is not a concern. Time for a refresh! There are too many new restaurant/bar options in Kelowna now that actually give a damn about providing a positive client experience.
