we had not been here until shortly after they opened. We sat on the patio this time. Nice and quiet. Compared to inside. I find it noisy , like Earls. This time the food was fab- u - lous . We shared the Dynamite Rolls . Very Tasty. We shared the Chicken Ceaser Salad. Very nice. We ordered a side of Garlic Bread. We had cocktails to start with. He had the Mojito and I had the Signature Cocktail. Very good. I think the prices for drinks and food are very competitive. The service was spot on . Our male server was great . The place was pretty darn busy too....and they still pulled it off. I will go back and try other things. Lots of parking too. Good location in the SW section of the city. Thanks for the review Rocketman! So glad you gave us another try! Hope to see you again!!

Stopped in with the kids for breakfast Saturday morning. Service was excellent which boosted this review to 4 star. Location is clean, price point is ok. Food had a ticket time of ten minutes and my skillet was good and the kids enjoyed French toast and waffles. I was looking to try the eggs benny as that is my usual go to for breakfast, but when asked the server told me the hollandaise was from a package. Location is similar to de Dutch with a better price point. In summary it’s a solid independent restaurant with a mix of scratch and packaged for breakfast. Food was well prepared though and service was excellent. 3.5 rounded up.

We’d emerged from a highly sedentary day on the Rocky Mountaineer, one of us with a lousy cold, both very weary, so we needed a quick, tasty meal somewhere near the hotel. There’s a lot of options in Kamloops but we were pretty pleased with our choice. It was buzzily busy for a Monday night, although rather noisier than we’d wanted, seemingly a healthy mix of tourists and locals. The menu is not too big, taking on many Mediterranean influences, though with varying levels of success based on our samples. The merguez sausage pizza was very good, but we were surprised it arrived with the mezze plate which we’d assumed would be viewed as the starter. It worked out well as both plates were large and we couldn’t finish them so we ate the hot pizza first and at least we ran out of steam when getting to the last bits of the mezze plate. The latter was ok, but the baba ganoush was rather bland and I’m not sure the fig added to the hummus quite worked. The pickled veg were ok, but eventually lacked variety for me. The drinks list is good and well priced in Canadian terms, and a decent Negroni and an excellent Pinot Gris went down nicely. Service was friendly throughout. I’m sure if I was a local I’d make it here fairly often.
