Four of us had lunch here last Sunday. Everything was perfect from the way we were shown to the venue (one of several on the farm), our reception and seating.The set menu was perfect; the range of breads were great (loved the charcoal ciabatta). The fixed menu had limited but sufficient options - although no fish main course options. I did advise them upon booking that my wife is pescatarian, this was not acknowledged ever.The food took our breaths away, I loved the tempura waterblommetjies and the pork; the brisket was a big hit with others. Also the small, delicious table salads.The service by Carmen was perfect; timed as well as one could.I would suggest that the tables with a view of the gardens are better; it is quite dark inside.One suggestion: maybe offer guests a welcoming glass of Boschendal sparkling wine upon arrival.This is a very special place - and fortunately one is not crowded by groups of diners in tour buses!Dear Gerhard,Thank you so much for the great comments and kind words. Lovely place and excellent service.The waiter took time to explain each wine and gave us time to try and savour the wines.Beautiful vineyard views and decor of restaurant is comfortable, inviting and serene.Prices reasonable.Highly recommends.
