Reviews on Fusion food in Es Castell, Balearic Islands, Spain. Es Castell (Spanish: Villacarlos) is a small municipality in eastern Menorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain. The town was founded in 1771 by British Col. Patrick Mackellar and was originally called Georgetown in honour of King George III; however, it takes its current name from the large fort nearby, known to the British as St. Philip's Castle. Col. Patrick MacKellar (Argyllshire 1717-1778) was the chief engineer of Menorca and his house today is known as Son Granot. Es Castell celebrates its Foundation Day on 1 June with 18th-century themed festivities, in which the Municipality itself, St. Philip's Castle Foundation, Son Granot and other institutions participate.

If something highlights those who visit us for the restaurantâs nightly offer, it is their exquisiteness. How do we get it? Pampering the local product with trusted suppliers and combining it with our own vegetables, herbs and aromatic herbs; elaborating

Our opening time on bank holidays is from 12:00 to 16:00.
Some people said that is a mandatory place to eat in Mahon but my experience was not good. The food is acceptable... but only acceptable, so the price is expensive related with the quality and the taste of the food. Probably is not a good idea to eat in a Mexican when you are in an island plenty of good fish.

Arrived to a half empty restaurant with around 6 tables free outside but all with dirty plates etc all over. I guessed theyâd been busy so stood and waited at the main door to inside for someone to greet me or say hola. Each waiter just walked past me. I managed to get a waiters attention on passing and asked if I could take a seat and he just nodded. I waited 10 minutes for the table to be cleared. And had to ask for a menu. Food and coffee was good but Iâve now been sat here for 25 minutes after asking three times for the bill, in Spanish might I add. So there is no language barrier here. Also there is Waiters need to be changed or need training on service. I understand itâs August and itâs busy here on the island but if you work in this industry, unfortunately itâs comes with the territory. And is no excuse. I tip everywhere for good service but I tipped nothing here because there was literally no service. Not even the basics. It gets two stars because of food, nothing else. Dear jamierJ7585LP,Thank you very much for your review. We are sorry to hear that your experience at Sa Lliga did not meet your expectations.Unfortunately the day of your visit the weather was not good and we were not ready to receive the quantity of customers we had on that day. Restaurante de comida Mexicana, Mediterranea y fusion, 100% casera. 100% homemade Mexican, Mediterranean and fusion food restaurant.
Thank you Chef David and your team for making us feel so very welcome on both occasions we ate here. The menu has some interesting options - Mexican but with a Mediterranean influence. Each dish we tried was fresh and flavourful, generously portioned and served in a timely manner. We tried 6 different dishes in all and loved all of them. 2 dishes in particular we ordered again the second time around - the Mexican salad and the chicken enchiladas, were just so delicious! I also want to make mention of the excellent service. The wait staff were all really friendly and attentive and Chef David on both occasions came out and personally talked to the guests at each table to make sure everyone was happy. He really seems to love his work and it shows in his cooking!! Thank you again for the great food and experience.
