Cool looking restaurant combining bar and restaurant in one. We choose the 4 course surprise menu with combining winen and were surprised by the quality of it. Very nice combinations, beautiful presented and most important, delicious. Also the service was very good. We are happy to found another fine dining restaurant in Den Bosch!

One if not my favourite place in Den Bosch to have lunch or early dinner. They now also have a bakery to keep up with the pastry demand. Try the cheesecake and monchou cakes. The staff goes above and beyond and the place just has a great vibe. Bring a book, plonk down in the big chesterfield couch. Order yourself a hot chocolate, one of the varieties of tea or one of the many coffees that Rick or Joyce will build for you from scratch. In summer, it's a great place to unwind after a day of shopping. Enjoy one of their home brewskis and watch the world go by.VERY affordable and every time we visit Holland we make sure to visit as much as we can. If you come from Australia, bring a packet of Tim Tam's for Rick and you will have a new best friend. Tell him John sent ya!

Fine Asian Dining in an luxurious atmosphere. And best of all, it's All You Can Eat.
2nd time at Shizen and quality is consistently good. The concept is all you can eat within 2.5 hours for â¬25âish and you order via a tablet at your table. The staff is very polite and service minded. There is only a little sushi (reason they do not get 5 stars) but what is there is good. Lots of crowd pleasing dishes and the wonderful Iki beer (the champagne of beers) which all restaurants and bars ought to stock.

Very big restaurant, feels not cosy. Staff just friendly but not really hospitality and not everyone knows the menu.Food is average sushi not special. The fried food (tempura) seems not friend in fresh oil. Wasabi sweet (added sugar?) for a big group and not expecting too much fine. Price/quality is okay â¬35 average food and drinks. We were with a group of 16. Maybe I am critical as I have done Japanese restaurants around the world. So for a Japanese food virgin it's a good place.

We enjoyed the interesting combination of ingredients, the excellent wines and nice atmosphere. Prices are above average (we had 4 3-course dinners incl. a bottle of wine for â¬330). Staff is friendly and you have the possibility to stay at one if their 8 hotel rooms.Definitely worth a try.
