This grade 2 listed building set in the heart of the Ribble Valley has recently been renovate to a high standard, both inside and out but still in keeping with the country feel. We think our beer garden is one of the best in the area. Our food offering is
We were staying close by on holiday and went for dinner. The pub looks fairly recently refurbished in a contemporary, comfortable style with tasteful and relaxing colours. Staff were welcoming.Food was excellent - an interesting menu. We only had main courses but they were great - a rich cheese and onion pie - seemed home made and the flat iron steak was very tender and succulent with hot crisp fries. The accompaniments were fresh and tasty.Good value - would highly recommend.

First time visit to the restaurant after hearing good reviews. Arrived 5 minutes before it was due to close and we were still allowed to dine, so a great start. Waiter was very welcoming and personable. Ordered the lamb shank and chicken sandwich and both were superb. Great food, great host and beautiful decor. Will definitely be back and thanks!!

A nice little place for some halal food... Quick service and good presentation. We ordered King prawns for starter: the sweet chilli sauce went very nicely with the prawns. Had a mint lamb burger which was ok and also a Lebanese mezze... The falafels were quite dry.All in all, would come here again for a snack or lil lunch, but wouldn't eat here for a full on dinner.. Its more of a casual place to eat.
