Using French techniques, organic products from the Indian land and an acquired know-how, we are pleased to offer you a palatable Indo-French cuisine at Le Poisson Rouge.
Le Poisson Rouge is the flagship restaurant of French chef Gregory Bazire, and just a walk down from our little resort on the Baga River. Dimly lit, the lush green shrubbery seemed to encase us from the honking outside. The menu is French-Indian-Goan, perfectly cooked dishes in a classic French style with local flavours. It might sound like a well trodden path, but the results are a lively and captivating. River Crab and Coconut Tempura was deliciously moist, both crab and coconut flakes were fresh and danced together wonderfully. The tempura casing was crunchy and springy at the same time. Accompanied also by a sweet and tangy fig sauce for added punch.

Kapriz represents a unique and charismatic fusion of culinary cultures with Indian flair and a fresh approach to dining. The menu offers several dynamic 'Whet Plates' which is to whet your appetite, served tapas style. Though they are named "Whet Plates",
WE stayed at the Resort 6 nights and ate here about 4. We found the food very tasty on western dishes and never tried Indian, having been in India three weeks already. The menu is a little restricted but I would rather a restricted menu than food not up to scratch. As my wife was sick we did not venture out much and when I did try, a number of restaurants recommended on trip advisor were shut for the off season. With the resort attached I suspect this is open all year round and has live music Tues and Thurs.Staff were quite professional and helpful.Greetings baj2300,Thank you for taking the time to review us and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed dining at Kapriz. Taking your comment regarding the limited menu options into consideration we made a few changes. We hope you would drop by soon to taste our revamped fusion tapas.Warm Regards,Team Kapriz

Out of the Box dishes and well platted. The restaurant serves Goan Poi Pizza a very tasty twist. The Thai or Italian were all served and tasted different. The flavours were well balanced and we all enjoyed the meal. The dessert Bonafie Pie and Chocolate platter were also different and tasty. A good place to visit. A nice comfortable place to hang out with friends. The service is good, fast and responsive. The food and even presentation is neat. The live music we could have done without, he was awful but kept at it without a break.
