I have been dining in the restaurant for over a month.The surroundings and seating facilities are excellent and the food is excellent too.A buffet service is available at lunchtime and home cooking from the kitchen is also on offer with very tasty local dishes.There is an evening menu during July and August.The restaurant is run by a very friendly Spanish family who go out of their way to make you feel welcome.Nothing is too much trouble for them.I will continue to use the restaurant during my stay on the island as it is excellent value.Geoffrey D Silkstone

Small minuscule cocktail â¬9 each was disgusting. When I paid the bill and told the waiter behind the bar that we were served half a small champagne glass not even a cocktail glass and it was just poured out of a bottle and I felt â¬9 euros was overpriced he started shouting and being rude and told me to go to a cheapo place on the island and see if I can get better.It was embarrassing that he had to shout so unprofessionally causing such a scene .Taking his advice I went to playa de Fornells to the cocktail bar and paid â¬6 euros for a huge cocktail.very rude bar man. Iâll come back next time it changes hands which I donât imagine will be too far away !!Dear Sir, First we would like to apologize for the problem you encounter in our restaurant and especially our RUDE Bartender. I am absolutely surprised about your commentary because the video we have at the bar is showing our Bartender absolutely quiet and did perfectly his job, showing you the ingredients we are using for our Margarita.Now talking about overpricing, you should be more clear about the type of cocktail you want to compare with. What did you drink for 6 â¬? Was it a Margarita?Our cocktail of the day was the Margarita. Could you please send us a photo of the margarita you order in Fornells?As you probably discovered for the first time, the margarita, is made of tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, agave nectar and served in a Margarita glass, a variant of the classic flat champagne coupe. All over the world, the classic Margarita is made and served like we do serve it. Talking about the price, the average price of the Margarita starts from 7 to 17 â¬. Our asking price seems to be in the lower average and not expensive, considering the type of restaurant bar we are. Please, compare with the same level bar our restaurant in Menorca, I can garanty you that we are on of the cheapest and always try to give the best service we can. That day, you received 3 Margarita for 18 ⬠which is a very fair price!!! And If you have any doubt about the way our bartender talked to you, please come back and we look together to the video recorded that day. Our bartender never, shouted on you. you shoud better stop writing any reviews and I will send a copy of this to Tripadvisor customer service.

Just what Fornells has been missing, a cool /contemporary (dare I say Hipster) bar that caters for younger crowd. Decor more suited to London or Barcelona but with a lovely local feel to it. It looks like someone has converted their grans house into a bar. Theres a great outside area too where the main bar is located. Its quite a small place but never packed out the times we were there. Great place to meet and drink. We didn't try the food but they looked pretty excellent burgers and fries. Will try next time.
