Go there for childhood memories, this place got everything you had and zoo have seen in your childhood... from the Pierrot Lollipops, to the big Playmobil, Formica furnitures...Lunch was tasty and deserts were as sweet as we needed it to be...Really a sweet place to go.We do not want to say too much but the attention to details is such that there is always something to discover... even in the loos!!!

How refreshing to find a proper chef in a town serving mostly tourist food. The plats du jour were highly original, accra (fish fritters) for me and lieu on a bed of beluga lentils for my sister, both dish tastefully served by a very professional waitress. The décor is soigne and the cutlery and glasses spotless. An excellent experience.

Searching for nice palce in Gerardmer and want to eat burger we found this Bistro near main street in Gerardmer. We didn't want to go to classic burger places like McD. Friendly service although it was very busy, nice cozy location. Good quality meat, interesting choice / variation and reasonable price.

Visited in summer, nice place a little more chairs on the terrace can be handy. Food is average, more winterfood than summerfood. No finesse. Wines are average too, but there are nice artisan beers.

We ordered two dishes and this review is based upon those two. We might just have been unlucky, or ordered the wrong thing, but the food was not good. The dishes were Entrecote and a mix of beef and chicken which was grilled by ourselves on a pierrade (grill-stone).The Entrecote was extremely chewy and full of fat. What could be eaten tasted quite OK though and it was grilled perfectly as per my request. The pierrade meat was not marinated at all so the meat was more or less tasteless. The only thing saving the place was the nice waitress and her good service.

For our mini honeymoon, we went for a shortski at La Bresse. Stumbled upon this restaurant, and were pleasantly surprised. A lot of french restaurants our focussed on low quality tourism snacks. This is a high end restaurant, unfortunatly with prices that are accordingly. Menu is guide Michelin star quality, serving local seison based ingredients. Two waiters attended our table. Great great wine card, with prices going upto +500â¬/bottle. Only minus points: no soap in the toilet. And only one toilet available for both men and woman and disabled. For a restaurant/hotel of this allure, this is not ok.As for the bill: we both had one main dish and one dessert and a small 37cl bottle of burgundy, adding up to a total of about 125â¬.Still in my opinion it was worth it.

attention "table de montagne" peut porter à confusion en mettant Le Collet après les gens ne se trompent pas
We ate here on the second night of our stay, and found the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The main draw is the atmosphere, with the quirky objects. The staff were very attentive.

We arrived in Gérardmer late in the evening and stumbled upon this restaurant in hope rather than expectation. We'd had a long day in the car and the kids were tired. But we were met with excellent service, wonderful food and great drinks. The food was simple but well cooked and the cheese plate was a revelation. Really reasonably priced and just what we needed after a long day travelling. Dear Sir or Madam, We thank you for this comment. Hope to see you again in a near futurRegards
