A young couple started this restaurant after a thorough restaurant education. We started with two different planches with a range of attractive bites followed by a maincourse, copious, nicely presented with good and fresh ingredients. Both fish and meat were cooked to perfection. It was the second time we went there a third time will follow that's for sure.

We really enjoyed this lovely restaurant. Staff were very friendly and fun. The food was delicious and we both enjoyed the whole experience. I mention budget in my heading as it is expensive on the A la carte however, prices are clearly marked and we chose to book and eat there. The menu is what you would expect of quality venue. Wine list had a good choice (we had two bottles). Our only regret was not visiting again.

We had dinner in this restaurant and experienced a friendly atmosphere and a beautiful setting. The decor is like being in an outdoor garden, the tables have fresh roses and the tiny place has a cozy surreal feeling. Christian took care of us that evening and made sure every detail was taken care of for his customers. While he single handed my served everyone, he kept an eye on new arrivals and greeted each personally. You could tell there were many regulars who knew each other. Worth a visit or two. Even better if you are staying in Haut des Cagnes. Fantastic food and well priced and a very charming owner. I was there during low low season but that was only pleasant. Very small restaurant with only six tables. I had mussels for starter and scallop risotto as a main dish, both were amazing.

So glad we found this place. Very welcoming couple who run it and have a genuine passion for food, provenance and ingredients. The menu is unusual and we are told changes regularly - with options for meat eaters, fish fans and vegetarians alike. We had lunch here on the holiday Monday. It was warm and sunny and we sat on the patio. The service is very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had some interesting items on it. The problem was that, having eaten there before - under the previous owners - we found that the quality of the food was not as good as it once was. It was not bad, but when we last ate there the food was very, very good. Hopefully this is just a reflection of the growing pains of new ownership. I think that Kafe-In is probably as good as the other places in the area, but it doesn't appear to be the cut above the rest that it once was. Next time I am in Cagnes-sur-mer I will try it again and hope the new management is able to set it apart from the rest again.HelloI do not understand the meaning of your comment.You can not compare what is not comparable.The new Kafé In is a restaurant of market cuisine elaborated with love and passion, and especially a place where one can taste pure wines and winegrowers.Of course the former owners knew about them but we do not do the same cooking.Thank you nevertheless for having appreciez the new Kafé In and hope to meet you in my establishment to have a discussion and share a good time.It's a pleasure to see you again!!

Our visit tonight was one of the nicest dining experiences weâve had recently. Restaurant or home? A tiny, homely husband and wife spot, innocuous on a mundane main road in Cagnes-sur-Mer, â¬69 for an impeccable, home-cooked three-course meal, bookended by a delicious anchovy-based amuse-bouche and a cheeky kumquat-infused rum. The couple who run it are lovely, and we wanted everything on their small menu. Hope to go back. The food so fresh and well cooked as well as the service just great under the supervision of Cyril who is the director of the restaurant!! Had a fantastic lunch here! Given the quality atmosphere and ambiance we prepared ourselves for an expensive experience! Not so at all. It was exceptional value for a fantastic three course meal and great bottle of wine! Good (but slightly limited) choice for vegetarians. Really enjoyed the food and the service! Top tip; take the plat de jour and recommended wine.
