first visit in this restaurant: let us say we have to wait and confirm our first appreciations. As far as starters and meals are concerned they appear to be seriously cooked and tasty. Perhaps we'll have some reservations when speaking of desserts: profiterolles are not consistent with the usual recipe, tiramisu with mango wants to be original but not consistent with the traditional recipe. When talking of wines, this winelist is interesting and we did not incline to select the most expensive; our red Chinon was in the good average of Cabernet made wines. Most probably, we'll come back to this place which is worth visiting for starters and main courses and we'll be in a better position to recommend this restaurant and confirm.

We ate here whilst staying at the hotel. We had the taster menu which was great value at â¬55 and was absolutely excellent. Service was really good and wine was reasonably priced. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant regardless of whether you are staying at the hotel or not.

We just had sandwiches as part of their lunch special (which included drinks and desserts). Everything was great - the sandwiches are huge! The place is quirky and fun (inside and outside area) - I was so glad I had read about this place on Tripadvisor before our visit!

Pamukkale was recommended to us by the owner of our accommodation. It was easy to find, right near the riverfront, and the menu posted outside was very comprehensive. My husband and I arrived about 6:30 pm, very hungry after a long day of sight-seeing in Giverny. The waitress told us that it would open at 7, so we went for a long walk along the beautiful river and wandered around town for a while. It turns out that on Monday nights, most of the other restaurants in town are closed!Anyway, we returned and selected a Turkish dish to try, and it was fantastic - hot fresh and generous! We chose a Turkish beer to accompany the meal and really enjoyed it as well. There was only one waitress, but she was fast and friendly and happy to take the time to explain the menu items. A terrific experience at a very reasonable price!

The restaurant was recommended by the owner of the B and B where we were staying and he booked it for us. It's only a small place- no more than 8-10 tables and all were full. You have your table for the night and there is no rush.We chose to eat from the Discovery menu at 39 euros each as this seemed to be good value. All the food was freshly cooked and beautifully presented - we had no reason to complain at all. The waiters were friendly and spoke excellent English and were more than happy to answer any questions that we had, particularly about the extensive cheese board.Try the strawberry souffle - it is to die for!!!The whole meal experience took about 3 hours which is a long time for the English but it meant that each course was not rushed and at the end, I was not too full to walk back.Thank you for your compliments. They deeply touch us. It was a pleasure for us to serve you and give you advices. Sincerely.

Spend a pleasant time in our restaurant in Vernon. Open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday and evenings from Tuesday to Saturday. Come to discover our kitchen made in ERISAY both traditional and creative. Let yourself be surprised by our living room lounge,
We called in on the off chance of getting a table without a reservation and were made most welcome. The venue is spotless, it's only been open for 3 years, and is becoming established. The Gigot d'agneau was brilliant. You must add this to your listhello, thank you for your opinion and comments from the team of Estampille-by-Erisay. We are very happy to have met your expectations. Looking forward to welcoming you again.

Went again with the family this time. Best to reserve.... as always crowded. Despite very busy evening everything went smoothly in a timely manner. Good wine. God service. Good food... keep going.

Had dinner after a large lunch and really didnât do justice to the food. Nice selection of entree and desert crepes, also salads. Full bar, small but adequate selection of beer and wine. Lovely setting right on the Seine. Seems like a neighborhood place, we were the only non French but had great service. Tip - they donât bring you the check - you pay inside at the bar.

We were only in Vernon/Giverny for a night, but fortunately our hotel booked for us in advance. The room is small and lively, and it fills up fast. Great oysters, lovely mixed salad, eggs with chanterelles, and fantastic lasagna were on our menu. A dinner special offers 3 courses for 21 euros and 4 for 29 euros-plus a glass of good wine! Bargain or not, go because the food is excellent. I couldn't manage dessert, but my husband tried the sorbets and loved them. Service is a bit pressed when the place is full, but we were there to relax and had nowhere else to be.

Lovely Normandy restaurant, fairly close to my sisters home and about 20 minutes from Giverny. The Restaurant Gabriel looks âFrenchâ from the outside but more Scandinavian modern in the inside with one large room with 60âs wood and Formica tables. Though the room is large it is quite and somehow manages to feel intimate with 60-70s music playing softly in the background. The service was impeccable and the presentation very pleasing to the eye. They promote the products of the region through local producers so everything is fresh. We were each served a delicious cold green pea soup served in a parfait glass. I ordered one of their Menu options, they have several along with a few Ala Cart options. My starter was a shrimp cocktail, again presented beautifully and very tasty. My pork dish was divine and presented on a bed of an incredible chopped mushroom dish. My menu included the appropriate wine accompaniment, which was the only disappointment of the evening â light not full bodied. My sister ordered the filet mignon, again the presentation was lovely however she found the meat touch (she thought it fresh beef rather than aged). Her starter was an absolutely fantastic Foie gras. My brother-in-lawâs selection was the steak tartare which he said he would order again. Another lovely evening in Normandy. Price range 30E to 75E including wine.
