Restaurang som finner inspiration och råvaror ur vårt lands skafferi, helst när de är som bäst i säsong. Maten blir ett uttryck för de intryck som hämtats från naturen så väl som från historien. Både meny och dryckeslista är under ständig förändring för a
Used to be our favourite spot in Gothenburg. My wife is French and we really enjoyed the genuine feeling from the service, food and wine. New owners haven't captured this at all and the food feels more like some sort of modern fusion than actual French. Too bad, but all things change I guess.

Best bistroâ ever is the first thought...but not enough to describe the amazing experience and care we got at Bistro Odette!!! Amazing food, the best of French classics with an original but authentic twist, wonderful service and delightful wine pairing.Highly recommended!!!

A small restaurant with a warm atmosphere, with local and traditional food. We specialize in wine with a large selection of wines by the glass and more than 500 bottles of wine.
Fortunately I often travel through this lovely city and at last after dining at many of Gothenburg's "best" restaurants, I now have a place go. Whether just for a drink or to eat fine top quality food,Barsac wine bar stands head and shoulders above the rest. The proprietor is extremely knowledgeable and charming, the extensive wine list can be paired with the most delicious food, beautifully prepared. If you are looking for a special place, you've just found it!

Le Pain Français Brasserie draws its inspiration from the classic French Champs-Elysées restaurant Le Fouquet´s, with a splash of modern New York. The interior is acclaimed and in 2015 competed for the title Europe's best designed restaurant. The brasseri
A good sized restaurant in the heart of the shopping district, it has a decent amount of outside seating as well as inside. Internally itâs quite elegant in style, although rather jazzy in places as well such as the bar counter illuminated with strips of pink neon. The waiter looked a little odd with his tattoos, piercings and partially shaved head, but he was friendly enough and spoke good English. The menu was quite traditional French, and I opted for that 70âs classic, Duck a lâOrange. This was served with a very pureed vegetable of some description, I think it perhaps had something of a suede taste, and a salad which was perhaps a rather odd accompaniment. Overall it was pretty good, a decent hunk of meat, not fatty as can often be the case with duck and a very pleasant glaze, although the orange flavour was not as prominent as I would have liked. Across the table, a Beef Bourguignon was also well received, being served with a dark, rich sauce although the meat could have been a little more tender. Two deserts had sold out from the list of four of five, which was a shame as I would have fancied trying the Millefeuille au Chocolat, so in the event we skipped this. A glass of Italian white wine was very good, certainly one of the best we have had since arriving, although it was also very expensive. Overall, this was decent enough without being anything outstanding. Iâd happily return if in the area again, but equally wouldnât make a special point of doing so.
