Delightful small establishment now offering rooms of a high quality.I've had several meals here before and all have been very good and of good value. I love the egg mayonnaise starter. The wine is of the region and equally good. The rooms are all new and furnished to a high standard. The only things missing were shampoo and conditioner and also a hairdryer. Will certainly stay again.

Sadly, the "other" restaurant in town was closed for a private dinner. At seven, the dining room was empty with a tour group in another room. After sitting awhile, I startled the just-arriving waiter by fetching my own water. My wife had a chewy chicken Caesar salad; I had a good pate, fair lamb, and frites. The unbelievably inexpensive house wine saved the situation. We left without dessert.

We chosed the Menu du jour. A very nice and big piece of pork ribs with fries, salad with goat cheese and half a melon with a little bit of redwine. All very delicious. While we enjoyed our lunch, the sun hit our table and the very nice servant cleaned an other table so we could move and have our dessert in the shade. Excellent service. Hello,we are delighted that you enjoyed our food!Hope to see you soon ,The Pizza Nat Restaurant.

We have been regular patrons of this fine restaurant for 13 years, since it first opened. We have enjoyed more than 100 fine meals over the years, always consistent, always of very high quality, beautifully presented and always incorporating seasonal products. Not only is the food stunning, but it is one of the finest managed restaurants that we have ever eaten in. If they had a dedicated wine waiter, they could certainly qualify for a Michelin Star. When we take guests with us, they are always impressed. Reservations are imperative. It is situated in a beautiful 4 Flowered village and the restaurant itself is small and intimate. Service is always excellent, even when seated on the delightful terrace beside a stream. Browne's from Cheshire

A small restaurant, seemingly run by a husband-and-wife team. They offer a three course dinner for a little under â¬30, with two choices for each course. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly, but it's not for either fussy eaters or those with dietary requirements, as there is very limited choice.

Our map is inspired by the recipes of the terroirs of the Centre - Val de Loire. Our kitchen is made from raw products processed by us. We complete our offer with local handicrafts.
Lunch usually straddles visits to chateaux and this was no exception. We keep an open mind on the quality of the food, as some time such establishments trade on the convenience and not necessarily on quality. However, L'Orangerie serves rather good food at reasonable prices.I chose the special - La Spéciale Orangerie which showed case several specialities of the Berry Region. It was a rather large plate of salad with all sorts of yummy things. I took a photo of the description to help me remember. It included puy lentil, pâté berrichon (a luxurious sausage roll with an egg in the middle), potato galette, rillons (confit of pork belly), a local goat cheese, air-dried ham and a glass of wine from Valençay. For 20 Euros, I thought it was very reasonable. For pudding, I had Poirat, which was a pear pie and it was really good. There wasn't much of an atmosphere in the restaurant, to be honest, but it was dine for lunch. It was a huge space and there were oinly about 4 - 5 tables inside. Most people sat outside and had drinks or ice cream. I can imagine the space used for a large dinner party and then it will be buzzing. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Yes, they are much friendlier than the stereotypical French waiter. Very happy with our lunch here.Good eveningThank you for your comment.Thank you for your comments on the staff. He deserves it.Looking forward to seeing you again.Céline & Martial Gicquel

A Wednesday night in Valencay, everywhere is closed, tumbleweed rolls along the street. Then, a light glimmers on the cobbles, a sign of life? Of hope? Of a restaurant that is open?YES! A creperie that despite the late hour remains open so that weary traveller can eat.Thank you Lawrence. Delicious freshly made galettes and crepes washed down with cider.Perfect.

Restaurant of 35 places with a beautiful raised terrace, the cuisine of the Michelin star chef to guide michelin during 7 years is of high quality, fresh products. For the Fine grocery store and the wine cellar produced here, besides and on the other hand
We went here on Sunday for lunch,itâs very deceiving from outside as it only looks very small but once inside itâs huge, very nice, good food ,prompt service, nice surroundings,a little pricey but the old adage you get what you pay for applies
