Nice atmosphere I prefer drinking mostly there instead of eating. very relaxing after work on a Friday or hang out with friends on a Saturday night . Staff is informative and friendly.

I went to Fromage Brasserie with two friends visiting from Canada. The evening was pleasant, so we ate in the outdoor section of the restaurant which is shared with other restaurants. Service was friendly and relatively quick, the menu is diverse, and the food we ordered arrived hot and well-presented. Two of us ordered specialty burgers as complete main courses, and one of us had grilled salmon. All of the food was tasty, attractively presented, and worthy of comment. Highly recommended for an evening out with friends.

Pros; attentive waitress Tamara.Cons; shrimp chowder fairly tasty but "floury" consistency and not much shrimp in evidence....and too much salt. If you are serving in a bread bowl perhaps the bread should be warmed?Brie dish quite tasty, baguette was not fresh.Much confusion re wines. Staff kept saying that the wine list was being changed and could not say what they had to offer for a "house red". Finally a Robert Mondavi Cab was served - an astonishing $1,200 per glass we discovered when we got the check! And it was a short measure as well!Staff try but they need supervising and a skilled waiter/maitre de to train them in the finer arts. The manager/supervisor never leaves the cash register, does not seat people, check tables etc. In fairness maybe she is a cashier only and there is No Manager or Supervisor? They should perhaps visit Uncorked and get an idea of culinary and service standards? Just a suggestion. I wish them well. Could easily be improved with the right leadership.
