Traffic jam in Marseille got me here 1 hour late, but as I gave a notice, I had a table. They have a menu that rotate on a six week basis - today's was veal or risotto for starter, local fish or chicken for main and tart, chocolate or cheese for dessert. I had the risotto, the fish and the cheese with a good local red (80% Mourvèdre). It was all great! The risotto was creamy with seafood, olive and citrus tastes - excellent with the red wine, the main - a white local "snapper" with a butter sauce was heavenly! The acidic fenil and rich mashed potatoes gave depth to a great white fish - the recommended wine was perfect. The cheese went down with a smile - as did the reminder of the red. Finally, I got a digestive with the bill. A local one made one the local herb - a citrus/lavender one. Great! Go to this place- perfect!Highly recommend!

We are living a few kilometers away from this place and my daughter's birthday was the opportunity to test this restaurant. Well I should have been decided sooner .. the place is amazing .. our table was close to incredible view on the forest vineyards and the sea. Regarding what you will find in the menu .. just think about anything that can be fine from the beginning to the end. A real nice place. You will enjoy a lovely moment.Dear Philippe B,Thank you very much for your nice comment on our San Felice page!We are glad to read that you enjoyed your moment with us for your daughter's birthday.Itâs always a great pleasure for us to read such nice comments and be assured that the staff will be noticed of your feedback. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming again at the Hotel & Spa du Castellet.Kind regards,Alexandra Bacquié

Meounes - les- Montrieux is off the beaten tourist track. It is a very unpretentious village with a local feel and you would not expect to discover a restaurant of excellence. When you walk off the street into this little haven it is a total surprise. The ambience is intimate and the decor elegantYou only have admirationfor the owners - chef and patron - started from scratch two years ago and built it up to this level singlehandedly within a year. Why?The food is innovative and of the highest quality - the servings are generous and by no means fussyHowever the key to its success is the patron - she has personal skills like no other restaurant we have experienced - she is hands on works all the tables yet at the same time gives you undivided attention and makes all diners special. She has incredible situation awareness - she heard a fork drop from 10 metres away but before the table could request another she had already provided it. Alas the three course dinner menu is 28 Euro - hard to beat

Having seen this place on the road to Signes, we decided to grab a take-out for lunch at our villa a few mins away. The place was busy with locals - always a good sign - but service was very quick. Fantastic burgers (Brooklyn Burger Angus) which were succulent and very tasty. We also ordered two pizza which, again, were very good indeed.Prices were also very reasonable in comparison with other places locally.Definitely recommend a vist - we're looking to go back before the holday finishes!
